Sometimes, i'm shooting and idiots get in the way, resulting in a TK.
Sometimes, it's my fault, so i let them get a free hit.

Everyone has.

Because there is no allowance for respawning in halo, you can spawn right in front of someone driving a hog/ghost/tank/shee and get run over. Utterly not their fault.

Yes... I hate it when a buddy respawns right in front of my warthog.

Or they jump off a base in front of your hog and then yell at you. Or you're sniping with the scope zoomed and they walk in front of you just as you pull the trigger.

What I don't understand is, I've been in games where FF is off and once in a while it'll say: "X was betrayed by Y." How can you betray with FF off?

a live nade will betray someone. it happens. like if you throw a nade into the enemies and your teammate will run there too, you can get em

You can't change other people, you can only change yourself. In other words, you must BE the change you wish to see in the world.

I respawned in front of our sniper twice back to back in a game a few months back. The first time he killed me, one shot to the head. The second time I wasn't killed but I lost my shields.

Heyyo,

Yeah, one way is if you accidentally damage a teammate by a shot/nade, and they nade themselves. For some reason it doesn't always recognize that as a suicide and it thinks he was tked. Another way is again, he gets shot/naded by accident and leaps to his death.

The respawn thing is the worst. I once almost won a match in Sidewinder with just the ghost in under 2mins with about 20 kills cause the enemy was spawning infront of my ghost... sadly at our base it was the same, thus I was banned.. 5 feet from the flagstand with the 3rd flag cap in hand.. if my team diddn't grab the flag n' finish the job I would be dissapointed, cause I won it for the team. The only deah I had was the kick n' ban too..

Oh... and when I tk clanmates... it's not accidental. ;)

if you manage to shove someone through the floor with a hog or something you betray them. if they sd and you give em some damage too somehow... like they sade with nades... you can betray them.

its rare, and its a glitch, but just ignore it.

If you have played for more than 30 min with non-elite players than you probably have at least 1 tk

But if FF is off, your nades should not hurt team mates– at least they usually don't.

Bad grenade throws are the source of my TKs 90% of the time. I am happy to say that all my TKs are accidental.

Heyyo,

Simon, all FF off means is they don't take damage from your shots/explosives, it doesn't mean it doesn't record them getting hit, so yeah, they did a cheap solution for turning FF off, which still leads to the ability of accidentally tking him.

For some reason, it usually records the last person hitting that person within 5 seconds as his killer, if he accidentally suicides within that little time frame, it considers that last person his killer. But if he suicides after that 5 seconds it decides that yes he killed himself, the main reason I think they did this system is if he was being shot at by an enemy and falls to his death in the process. Obviously they should've elaborated more on this system to incorporate suicides. Pretty lame eh?

I've accidentally tked people all the time. From stray grenades to the occasional bump of the warthog, it happens. I don't tk people intentionally (except if they tk me and don't apologize). Most of the times I will give people slack if they accidentally tk me. It happens. I do it to other people too sometimes.

There is a way to tk someone with friendly fire off, and the Mard just mentioned one of them. Another way, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, is if you push someone off a high distance. For example, I can keep shooting fuel rods or grenades or other explosives until an ally is blown off a cliff, like at the top of Death Island, for example. Or you can get into a vehicle and use a warthog or a banshee to make someone fall off a cliff.

If I meet a player who actually has kills on the enemy and has played for at least 10 hours ever without some level of friendly fire or team kills then I will personally rip out my organs and deliver them on a platter to him as he would most likely be some sort of god and in which case he could heal me, or just be an ass and let me die.

You must clear your mind. These teamkillers don't deserver any attention. Your anger and retaliation will only fuel their desire to keep going. I let them kill me. Walk over me, have the satisfaction, but in the long term, it is them who will suffer not us.

Well, there was this one time I was on the cliff that overlooks red base. I just took out a guy, but he put up a fight, so my health is down. Then for no apparent reason a teammate shoots a rocket right by me. While I survived, I was forced off the cliff and killed from the fall. He gets credited with a tk.

well i never had a problem with allies spawning infront of my hog/ghost.
if i tk its usally intentional. (have to mess with me first)

tk me = you die by my hands

I've accidentally TK'd, just say 'sorry', or 'srory' or other badly misspelled quicktype and usually you'll be forgiven. What I really don't like is when vehicles spawn on my head. THAT annoys me.

Oh yeah, and deliberate TKers? I almost always don't TK other TKers, just dodge around in front of them until they run out of ammo, then taunt them and TK em.

Except that one guy in Reno, just to watch him bleed.

yah i say srry whenever i kill somebody. i never mean to TK unless another guy is doin it on purpose... and to those people (you know who you are) dont go berserk and start nadin and meleeing somebody else just because they got the snipre rifle first. i have a story. i was in a ghost headin to blue base when this guy appears right in front of the porter and i kill him... acident. but then another ghost appears and i dont have time to type srry and cant until i eventually cap the flag. for the whole rest of the match he tries to TK me... once again dont go berserk about something stupid like that

I hate it when you don't have enough time to say sorry.

Usually, if I ever TK someone it's because my warthog was lagged into them. They have a tendency to do that, unfortunately.

And I hate it when people will kill you because, "you're a -blam!- who got the sniper rifle first!"

And sometimes, I realize it's my fault when other people tk me because I didn't get out of the way of their vehicle fast enough in an important situation. At times like these, I think it is a good idea to actually say sorry first.

One time, I was just walking across the map and melee attacked, just for the hell of it, and a teammate spawned right in front of me. There it was. Team kill. Total BS.

The best TK i had (accidently) happened today!! in sidewinder, i took the sniper went trought teleporter and saw one of my teamates fighting en enemy, so i tried to shoot the enemy, i was going for a headshot, i shoot and my teammate gets on the ways and dies, good thing i shot the enemy on the head right after, it was funny, we all laughed about it but the worst TK's ever are when u sometimes are melee-reloading and ur teamate gets in ur way,u get them in the back and u kill them, happened to me while sniping in blood gluch, and when u use rockets or heavy, i try not to but it sometimes happens
