no, but it will be fun running away from them in the library
thats my faveorite level! all i know is they better keep the floods strength the same. when you didnt bother punching them because they could take 50 punches. thats why i dont like fighting Halo 3 flood, you dont have to shoot any ammo, they were so easy. were in Halo CE flood on normal felt like halo 3 flood on Mythic! They have to be 20+ and clustered to be dangerous.
Cortana had plenty of Flood, but they weren't free roaming. Also, you could skip through without repercussions.
Halo had plenty of Flood, but there was so much room that you could easily kill all of them. Plus, you could also skip through without repercussions.
Floodgate was just horrible. I don't even need to mention the word skip. It's well known.
But The Covenant has the best.
The video above isn't the only way to get a lot of Flood. Kill everyone in the third tower except the Hunters and Brutes. It is preferable if you kill the Elites (you could also opt not destroying the AA Wraiths, but that means you wouldn't be able to get any Elite combat forms) closer to the glass screen that you normally hide behind during the Hunter battle. Melee the shields of every Brute. After the Flood cutscene, try to get as many combat forms to come down the elevator with you. Kill all the Brutes and then go up the ramp and kill Arbiter with the n00b combo (it is preferable that you give him a beam rifle or brute shot before going up the elevator). Now shoot at the wall, ground, or something with the plasma pistol to lure in the carriers and combat forms. When they're close, lure the combat forms and kill the carriers (don't stick them with a grenade though). Now run for cover (toss a frag to delay their chase) and the Flood will battle with the Hunters. If you want, you can kill one Hunter before going up the elevator.
So what's so great about this? Well, the Flood will always win (if Mythic is on and there's only one Hunter). I've seen the combined force of several combat forms send the Hunter flying. But if you have 2 Hunters, it depends. I can't recall which side wins more often, but I know that the battle can go on for some time (if they were more durable though, they would always win).
Tell ya what, I'll get a video of the fight.
