Subject: Pathetic players who leave ruin Halo 3's matchmaking.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

People are so pathetic. Every time they start losing, they leave. I've been playing Team Slayers for the past few days and whaddaya know? All three of my teammates left on multiple occasions leaving me alone 4v1. Obviously, I lose and I go down in my skill points because of these pathetic kids who don't know how to finish a damn game and just quit. I wonder what they're going to do in real life? I guess they're just going to quit when times get hard.

inbefore...play with friends. (None of my friends play Halo 3 anymore and the few that do aren't always on.)

I enjoy to playing Halo, Halo 3, Halo: Reach and ODST. Sometimes my friends join in and I get a kick out of it every time! :D My favorite quote from Ghosts of Onyx: "Die? Don't you know? Spartans never die." —Kurt-051 upon his death. Such an awesome quote.

"If you trust yourself, and your abilities; knowing that you will achieve your goal(s).... You can, because you believe you can." -RandomDude184/Evil Nunkeeyz99.

Chill, just ignore that they left. If they all leave, you win.

They were the three people on my team, so the other team of course doesn't leave when it's 4v1...easy win.

Sometimes if you get a few lucky kills in and take the lead, you can then hide for most of the game and eventually win. Its been done before, both by me and against me.
Not the most noble of tactics, but if leveling up is the most important thing...

Have faith in me

that has happened to meh a BUNCH of times and even though i really really wanted to quit, i wanted to stay in so i atleast feel great about getting a few kill and get a bit of experience instead of losing it. when people do that, it really annoys the hell of me.

fear me, for i am pro sauce

the only thing i can say to that is, enter with friends

just make sure your "friend" doesn't quit when you are down by 3 at the start of the game, costing you the game due to losing by 1 kill against a full team of friends

Yeah, I've HLG'd before. It's actually pretty fun and funny to see people walk right by you and not notice.

We are timeless, bound as one, we cannot be silenced, as our song lingers on.

You do indeed have a very valid point SEAL, people simply don't know how to finish a game anymore, they need to be told this isn't COD where you can leave with absolutely no penalty to yourself or your team-mates and join another game mid session in 5 seconds.

They obviously don't care about:

1. Obtaining -1xp as opposed to either 0xp or 1xp
2. Losing rank anyway in a ranked playlist
3. Putting their team-mates at a disadvantage
4. Waiting another 5 minutes to join a game they could be in.
5. Ending a game prematurely when all players quit.

Bungie's incentive for not quiting no longer applies, Halo 3 has flatlined into a bunch of Lag-Switchers, AFK's, De-rankers and of course rage-quitters.

Yet there are still a few glimmers of hope, as I have seen many promising players in the lower ranks of Lone Wolves and Team Slayer.

Yeah, I've HLG'd before. It's actually pretty fun and funny to see people walk right by you and not notice.

The best playlist to do this on was Team Doubles. In fact, a tactic way up in the higher ranks was to gain the lead, then one player quit leaving just the one player hiding. I had this done many times to me.
But I also found that if my team-mate quit, I never hid. I always went out fighting due to some need to play the game. Even if I was in the lead, I still went out, to give the players a chance. I can't abide people who will do anything to win. Its a shooting game, not a hiding game.

That sir was EXACTLY my argument against my friends who HLGed. But of course since I only had a 30 in Lone Wolves my opinion didn't matter to them.
They were "H3 Kids" through and through. Never played Halo 1 or 2 before, didn't like Reach because they had to relearn everything since it wasn't like Halo 3. Hated Halo Wars. Now they are hoping that Halo 4 is exactly like Halo 3. I hope it's not and I want to see if the leave the Halo series.
Point is it's people who quit because of ranks & exp, boosters, and derankers that ruined Halo 3 for me. It devolved into a business where people would offer to boost for MS points. Sad really. It got so annoying I moved onto COD with MW2. Then I learned the REAL meaning of raging...lol

I could win a 4v1 at your rank. Just sayin.

lol wut?

Bullet registration is the only major issue with Halo 3. Grenades were fine.

Absolutely nothing. I misread your comment and thought you said you could win a 4v1 against him. My apologies.

You want a cookie?

Anyway, thank you to those who actually gave valid responses. I was expecting people to tell me to stop crying and not actually reason with me, so thanks. I just wish Halo 3 didn't become what it has.

happened to me the other day. i was just brutalized by the end of the match. nothing like going up against 4 generals. :) one of them even sent me a message after telling me how to quit a game. then offered to teach me for 1600 points. i lol'd. i will say, the kills i did manage to squeak out during that match felt pretty damn good.
