Go to the Halo 1 & 2 PC forum for better help. It sounds like your computer needs more memory or your graphics card is not up to snuff or HDD lacks space. Idk but it sounds like it's the computer and not the game.

I've been trying almost everything for the past few hours and I can't get my halo 2 for vista to install. I insert the disk, and click play, this is the only way for the game to install normally, then the whole screen messes up and enlarges and a message pops up saying :
Initialization failed. Either insufficient system resources were found to run the game, or the game data is missing or damaged. Reinstalling the game may fix the problem.
The thing is I have reinstalled this like 4 times already and the game cannot be damaged since I just bought it today and it is in perfect condition!!
Any ideas on what I could do??
