I <3 you too Bungie

Bungie is privately held. Any profits for the business can be drawn out as distributions to the owners (stock dividends).

I think Jason Jones owns it entirely now, not too sure though.
Money is split with employees, Jason Jones, and Activision. I doubt we'll ever know the percentage each group gets.

They own the company. Each employee has a share of the company. Or so it was, it may have changed.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Activision is the new parent company of Bungie, I wouldn't say they "own" them, because Bungie basically has complete freedom to do as they wish, Activision simply publishes their games.

The profits I would assume go mostly to Bungie, and a small part go to Activision. It's not like they get nothing for publishing the game, and Bungie did make the game, so they would reap the most benefits.

Thanks. But the question remains.

Who has the majority of the stocks?

This is my understanding as well. Bungie is a privately held corporation, however, so they are not required to publicly disclose exact percentages and/or how their profits are allocated.

In short, you'll never get an answer to your question unless a a shareholder decides to disclose it at some point.

Activision is the new parent company of Bungie,
As I understand things, this is completely wrong.

There is no parent company to Bungie. Activision is now Bungie's publisher, much like a book author would have a publisher, but that in no way implies ownership.
