Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Shouldn't have the "spam" filter between posts. It gets annoying. We have been here for a while and have gone a while without being banned. You should trust us more, Bungie ;)

I like the spam filter, I never run into it, and it keeps spam down. I don't think it should be removed for any member title.

Also, maybe with each "rank up" in title, we get 1 more extra thread? So Heroic would have 8, Legendary 9, and Mythic 10?

A lot of people don't even make 7 a week.

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

"i liked the reality where everything was on fire better"

Why do you want to make so many threads so often?

"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

Get at me

While I only run into it every now and then, it does get annoying when I have to wait to post something.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

If you need to create more than 7 threads a day you're doing it wrong. The spam filter shouldn't be removed if you're a Heroic member of above, as it belongs to everyone site-wide. You shouldn't be taking less than 30 seconds to make a new post. If you're only writing a few or so words, kick it up a notch and actually put some thought into it.

Dead Mans Hand-Always Loaded.

I WAS SOCK

I could kind of see the spam filter thing, as Skibur brought up not too long ago, it'd be really nice in private groups.

As for the thread creation, I really don't think anyone needs to make that many threads =/

The Gunman Division: Ace Gunman, xOmega Gunmanx, JT Gunman, xLost Gunmanx, (Op) Lone Gunman, Spade Gunman, Viper Gunman, Ysuran Gunman, BlindfireGunman, Angel, briskit1, dinjitsu2222, and Onobono. No idiots, please!

I have run into the filter once and only once.
Honestly, why change it? Even members who are "trusted" with extra features can run amok and do stupid stuff. It just doesn't sound logical to me.

Chances are, though, that any response written in 30 seconds (including finding then reading the OP and posts) isn't too constructive.

While you wait, you might as well think a bit, or just refrain from posting the non constructive spam.

Usually my thirty seconds are up after actually reading the OP and the replies.

How do you ever hit the spam filter?

If you read the OP of every thread, you'll never hit it. You'll only hit the Spam timer if you just reply one word replies to threads.

  • 07.26.2011 2:31 PM PDT

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

I have hit the spam filter a lot but only in private groups. I've only hit it once in the mains.

I don't create threads that much so the last part doesn't really bother me.

No. Then we would have to see certain members who post for the sake of posting post even more. It's decent the way it is.

  • 07.26.2011 4:05 PM PDT

Me gusta

I think is fine and you would have to make post awful quick to get hit by it anyway.

*Legendary Members. My alt is a Heroic, and I think I've made maybe 20 posts with it in the last two years. Besides, Heroic sucks. It's an ugly looking rank. Privileges should go to better ranks. That's how the dictatorship should work. I'm rambling.

Oh, dang. I got demoted again. lol

It's funny that you seem to think that member titles have any stock in the behavior of a member.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Majority doesn't.

I only run into the spam filter when I find 3 or 4 good threads a page, but that only happens rarely as of late. But really you shouldn't have to worry about hitting the spam filter if you actually put thought into your posts.

  • 07.26.2011 5:10 PM PDT

poor ilitch

Nah. Waiting the time period between posts is a lot better than having anyone above heroic be a liability for potential [mass] spam.

  • 07.26.2011 5:16 PM PDT

It doesn't take that long to wait for the spam filter. Besides, forum ranks are a terrible way to judge how good of a member someone is. Just because I haven't been banned in a long enough time that I got a higher title, doesn't mean I won't do something stupid and lose it.
