Master Chief, but I only decided this after reading the novels, then I appreciated the character alot more. He's always done what is necessary to win/survive, he cares about his comrades, he feels fear, but has said (while narrating his thoughts) he has to put that aside and focus on figuring out how to kill these bigass Hunters guarding that rock. He expects nothing from his selfless actions and is a true soldier.

Although he may seem like an inhuman cyborg in the games, he has a very human, fallible side to him in the novels that comes out in his thoughts, but still finds a way to triumph. He keeps everyone in line, and rarely jokes around when a mission is at hand. He's focused, tough, quick, and strong. Feels no emotion when he kills the enemy, not anger, happiness, sadness, or any grief, he's just doing what he needs to or what he's told.

I killed him in the face!

Rookie.

He needs no explaination. He is excellently done and he doesn't even speak a single line.

KURT-051 He trained a new generation of Spartans. He could spot a trap a mile away and he saved dr.hasley, mendez, blue team, and the rest of the spartan 3s. I still read that final chapter and get chills
