Subject: A question regarding the last level of halo Reach

So we all know that at the end of the campaign noble six is destined to die next to his fellow spartan brethren. My one question is if these teams were like noble team which consisted of six members who were each like one man army's how the hell did 13 or at least two teams of spartans die.

That is enough to fill the ranks of at least two teams of spartans like noble. So how the hell did all of them die. Surely they did not all get cornered and died. Two teams of spartans died like noble six. What the hell happened how did all of them just die. Post your theories or discuss.
This is bumming me out that so many spartans died that easily.

Fire for Effect. Fire and Forget.

I think it was just a rendezvous for any surviving spartans.

#1 Legendary ODST Firefight Highscore

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

I also seriously doubt something like that could occur. Maybe they are all just resting?

Well I'm assuming that they did they same thing they do to you (Noble 6) in the game. Just overwhelm you with a swarm of enemies until they get you despite the cost. They might be Spartans but they're still human and have their limits.

Hey they could've gotten overpowered. I mean the ENTIRE human fleet (well not the entire fleet- just the one in the Eridranius system) were 48 hours away from reach. So they probably didnt have the extra firepower of the shipboard MAC's and extra troops.

Well you gotta remember too that the Covies basically own the entire planet by the time that level starts.

The only logical reason for those Spartans even being in that level would be that they were from Gamma Company.

But even that's a stretch.

Although expecting logic from Reach's storyline is also a stretch. At least in comparison with everything else.

It's not camping, it's holding the designated location.

Caboose tried to "help" them escape the covenant. That's how they all died. Some of them got helped and Master Chief didn't.
