No, then we will get "Youtube type" posts like

Thumbs up if____

^See this?

This is Bnet's own form of "liking" a post. People will quote it. We don't need comment-threads, and we don't need up/down voting. I like filtering content based on majority-vote on things (as on Reddit) but I'd prefer my forums to act like forums.
This.
HAHAHAHA

I vote no. I'd rather have Bnet stay the way it is.

It would lead to spam and abuse. I'm going to have to go with no.

(this works just fine...)

This. We already have enough idiots flaming Justin Beiber in The Flood.

But if there was no "top comments" section, I doubt it would be that bad.

Just enjoy the damn game!
Who cares about BR vs AR

There's no need for it in my opinion, but if we had it, I wouldn't complain.

Who the hell do you think I am

Oh god, it be youtube all over again.

When I answer a post with positive feedback, I like it. When I report it, I don't.

I understand that completely, but what would be the advantage of having a high Thumbs up or Like? The main reason why people ask for "Thumbs ups" is so people see can see these comments in the Top Comments section of the video. Now unless that is another feature that would be added, yes it would be an issue, but without that their really isn't a problem.

A site that I think does a "Like" feature EXTREMELY well, would be Roosterteeth.com (example Topic in RvB forums). For those that haven't been on this forum and site, they have a "Mod This" button. It allows you to choose from 8 different titles to rate a comment, not just like or dislike.

The positives: +1 Cool, +1 Funny, +1 Ditto, +1 Zing!
Then the negatives: -1 Lame, -1 WTF, -1 Noob, -1 Flamebait

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

I don't want to see what others think of my posts.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

I think this is a good idea.

Dislike +1

It just doesn't fit with bungie.net. This isn't a site that relies on people to "upvote" other members votes, you're meant to have an opinion on here, someone can say something you like, just quote them and agree with them and add your opinions along with it.
