There's always going to be modders in every game, no matter what. Here's how: The games are originally created from computers and computer can alter anything in a game, if done properly. I know, it may seem like I'm not giving you information on exactly how they do it, it's just very complicated. To tell you a little about how a program can function is through a series of binary (1, 0) and hexadecimal codes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E). Unfortunatley, to learn on how to make the program act the way you want it to act, you're going to need to learn C++. Now, at this point I'm not going to tell you guys on what C++ is, I just don't want this thread to lock that's all.
Now, the modders that usually seem to be numerous, they download the saved data into the memory card used from Action Replay to cheat. They aren't the "modders", they are just using saved data from a modder used to create them. Now, if a modder can change things in an instant, now you have a modder.
Sorry if I trailed off, but the first part is the explanation on how computers can easily manipulate the game. Games consist of alot data and it has to be processed at high speeds (and that's alot of data!). I'm NOT a modder, but a guy who knew how on a Playstation Gameshark. ^_^
It was cool for a while, until the game froze. : (
So, that's my conclusion on why modders can't be easily kicked out on Xbox Live and there will always be modders in the future. Sorry if this didn't help, but it is to explain on the modder issue.
