I found out on a news site (BBC news, in fact) that halo 2 needs Windows Vista, and any other operating system (except mac because i didn't find anything about that) just won't cut the mustard. Man, Bill Gates knows how to scam PC gamers out of their money, doesn't he? But there is a point to it i think. But what do you think?
The link is here (no rude stuff here!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4698072.stm
Sorry but I thought i should point this out
Welcome to last month!

thanks man but we already knew about this. it's ok though you're a new guy, welcome to the forums. Yeah it really sucks you need vista, cuz then it's like paying $50-100 for vista and then $50 for the game.
$100 for Windows Vista? You're thinking way too low Matt. Remember, Vista has been in development for over six years. It has been coded from scratch.
Also consider in the last 10 years, no new MS operating system ever sold for less than 100 bucks for the initial offering.
