"It will not be we who reach Alpha Centauri, and the other nearby stars, it will be a species very like us, but with more of our strengths and fewer of our weaknesses, more confident, far-seeing, capable, and prudent. For all our failings, despite our limitations and fallibilities, we humans are capable of greatness."-Carl Sagan

Who is going to tell her? John?

How would she react? Will she cry, not do anything, react like how her Spartans died?

Did she get attached to the Spartans because she didn't have Miranda around any more?

Or does she simply not give a -blam!-?

I dunno John meets her in a future Halo....?

And the programme has eat away at her for years. But being locked in a Dyson sphere does probably give her a lot to think about with them doing nothing in there.

no, karen talks about the actual people affected by the program starting stuff with her. so she pretty much said blue team will be out of the sphere in the book.. novel.

Yeah I don't forsee them staying in that sphere for more than half a book. I think they'll def be out by the start of the 2nd book, tops.

Halsey would probably just be somber about it, but ultimately, it may somehow influence her actions. (relatively speaking)

Speaking of the Keyes family, I think it'd be a nice little nod to the tradition of having the primary commanding character be a member of the same family, i.e., having Halsey take on the role Jacob (CE) and Miranda (2-3) played.
