Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

Usually the higher ranked members have a keener sense of humor and pose intellectual arguments.

You're evidence for that.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

I have given up setting standards for people's behavior. I see no point in it. If somebody feels like acting like an ass then go for it.

You have no idea how revolting I can be.

DeeJ's Challenge

I hold a few to some standards but they would never fall short of them. Simply put, the standards I set are based on their actual personality.

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

"i liked the reality where everything was on fire better"
-legato on remedial chaos theory

Only if it benefits my argument. Any other 'standards' are just foolish, people will act as they choose.

I my personal "standards", but I don't do it for others to follow, if they do good for them.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

The only member on this website I hold standards for is myself. It's not my place to expect something from someone I don't know IRL.

Permit me to ask Achilles, are you speaking from the perspective of a former ninja or just another member?

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

I usually expect higher quality posts from members who have been on good terms here long enough. I just expect them to break the rules less.

Not a bad standard to hold them to.

Well seeing how I am not a moderator any more that is exaclty what I do.

Hell. There were times when I would say -blam!- it even when I was a moderator. Towards the end of my time if I didn't feel like moderating but still wanted to post then that is what I would do. I refused to be strapped into that role just because I couldn't turn off my colored text.

In the end if somebody feels like being a total tool then why should it bother you?

When your a moderator and someone's being an ass what do you do? Do you do something about it or do you just say -blam!- it?

If they aren't blue, I know it ain't true.

But no, I don't really seem to pay too much attention to the hats, other than my own.

Do you hold certain members to a set standard of behavior based on possibly account age, member title, or anything else that I'm too lazy to type?
Pretty much, but only for new members.
Everyone should look up to the more experienced members of any group.
New members should respect their senior members, but not the other way around.
I don't think more experienced members should be 'held to a set standard of behaviour' because we understand the acceptable behaviour from being a part of the development of this community.
Surprisingly (or not) I expect Mythics to be more rowdy than the rest of the titles.

"I wanted to make people happy, if only for an hour."
-Busby Berkley

RIP Halo 2

I have separate hats I wear based on my member title. And the hat I'm wearing decides the manner in which I post.

As a normal member, I wear a baseball cap from when I was a kid. It has a symbol like the Cincinnati Reds, but that's not what the "C" really stands for.

Then as a heroic member, I wear a nice bowler derby hat.

My legendary hat is just a civil war hat. Obviously that's the one I'm wearing now. I love this hat since the color matches my legendary status bar.

And my mythic hat is a small crown with jewels. I've only gotten to wear it once, but someday I think I'll get to take it down from the pedestal I leave it on.

So in short, yes, I assume that every member's posting quality is directly proportional to their member status on these forums.
