I would do multiplayer design. I just enjoy multiplayer with a passion, it would be great to do that.

Doubt it would happen though. I will just continue with the game reviews.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Either Level design or character modeling but seeing as how, at the momment, i seem to end up with ridiculous numbers of polys for each model, i'd say level design right now.

I guess also doing some online community work also would be awesome, if i could fit it in of course. ;-)

Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

If Bungie had a private helicopter I could fly them around everywhere. The Bungie Princess wouldn't have to resort to loading up her SUV for those snack runs, and snack delivery time would be cut in half. Think about the possibilities; Tijuana Mama vertically delivered right to your mouths. ;)

Well, since Bungie doesn't have a helicopter and I lack any other useful skills, I could always be the court jester.

Ach! Was ist los?

I'm thinking of applying for the writing job. If I get it, I might try to sneak in some weapon designs on the side.

That sounds good, you could effectivley force them to add your content to the games

So many choices, I guess it would be AI or Weapons, though the Multiplayer Map feature dose intrest me. My Artistic skills arn't up to par and the best Graphic Art I can do is cut and paste on MS Paint (yeah my skills are that lame) I did do a little AutoCad but that was a class that was 6 years ago.

What program do you use for modeling? Its pretty easy to maintain a decent poly count in 3DS because of bump mapping. Even with the simple programs like milkshape, if you are a skilled photoshop artist (even intermediate) its not hard to make a good looking pseudo bump map. Heres a crapy render of something i did when i first got 3DS... (its high poly)

I would be interested in modeling level architecture and mechanical devices (ex. crazy vehicles and machines for level art and detailing…). I also enjoy doing a bit of photoshop work (ex. the background for the render), but i havnt had any classes for anything yet...

Edit: added a link to my render... damn photobucket....

I'd love to be a character animator, simply because I hate things which don't move - they annoy me, sometimes I push people down stairs just because I like they way they move, I find it fascinating.

But in all seriousness, I think character animation is a hugely under appreciated aspect in game development, it's all fair and well having stunning graphics but if things aren't moving it just doesn't feel right, I'm making it my mission to change that!

(You'll be getting my demo reel one of these days, Bungie. You beautiful bastards you)

I'd probably be an AI coder since i'm not that good at drawing.
Do you have any idea how complicated that is? Does anyone here knoe how complicated this stuff is? These games are all code. All that code has to be put into the computer, and one slightly little mistake could screw the whole game. Doom 3 had over 500,000 lines of code. Lines that are twice as long as this one, if not 3 times bigger or more. I'm interested in doing something in graphics when i grow up, but just thinking of some of the things i would have to do makes me shudder a little.
