"This is a letter going to 343 Industries. Let me know what ya'll think!"

******* Dear 343 Industries,

I'm a fan, of course. I don't want to waste your time breaking the ice, so I'll get to the point. Here are some things I'd like to see in the next couple of games. I know, I know, who am I to ask you for something. I buy the game, right? You claim you work for the fans, well check this out. And by the way, good luck. I love your previous work, I'll enjoy what you put forth wether you take my ideas into account or not. Have a wonderful day.

1. A triple weapon holding ability. Be able to hold one rifle in your arms, one rifle on your back and one pistol on your side. The weapons magnetically fuse to the armour, right? So have the ability to have a small weapon on the side, a large one on the back, and a large one equipped.

2. Dual wield, god damn it. I'm not kidding, why'd you ever think about taking that away? It's crazy, who cares if a dual needler makes you virtually invincible, so does having a sword in an enclosed, point blank space room. It's got Halo written all over it and you took it away.

3. Double-Campaign. Like the arbiter in Halo 2? Even if it's not the Arbiter. A double-campaign.

4. John's face... It'd make all of us happy.

5. Cortana sucks. I'm sorry. The new look has to be dumped. I don't like being harsh, but the new look is just... Agh. She looked amazingly sexy and gorgeous in Halo 2. Now she looks... Like... I don't know, but it ain't good.

6. Kill John. I know, but how the hell are you going to end the series? Happily ever after, Cortana gone rampant and Chief back home with his mommy and daddy? Ehhh... Have him die in the most heroic and noble way possible. It'll make the game stand out SO much more. It really will. People will love John so much more, because he really died to save humanity. And then nobody will ever be able to say "Spartans never die" again.

7. Martin O'Donnel. The music is great, please, oh please don't change the musical artist.

Alright. I'm done being demanding. I hope you guys don't take this the wrong way, I love you all for the things you've made. Halo is perfect, I trust you won't screw it up. I just really want to see some things put back into order or breaking new ground. But seriously, thanks for Halo. It's something of a miracle. *******

(Comment if you will. I'd appreciate your input.)

Halo 2 for Life!

343 make halo 2 advanced (new maps, more campaign and 12 v 12, everything else same).

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

Your cries will fall on deaf ears. They've already planned out the next three games, and you ask for waaaay too much.

Halo 2 for Life!

if that is to much then you ask for way to little.

Sure, let's just Kill off the chief, steal O' Donnel from Bungie, Segment our campaign into two factions (Do-able, if it's already planned) and completely change up gameplay by letting the player hold three weapons (Rocketsniperlaserftw!). Oh, and let's possibly re-break the sandbox with duel wielding...Yep, that's not asking a lot.

Halo 2 for Life!

o your talking about op... lol yeah I didn't read it, it was to long to read.

I wrote based on title.

I thought you speaking of my comment.

even though the op. demands seem strange, so might have dual wielding and vehicle play found in h2. not to mention button combos, super bounces, sword flying.

Think big, when you think small you'll find it hard to get things done.

#1 Legendary ODST Firefight Highscore

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

In my opinion, 4 and 6 are horrible ideas

You apparently didn't analyze that request... I said 'pistol-type-weapon' for a side arm and two rifle-like weapons able. One weilded at a time, one on the back and one on the leg. And if someone had a Rocket/Sniper/Spartan Laser combo in the first place, they'd be too risky. Everyone would be out to kill them anyway. And trust me on this one... If they don't listen to the fans on even some small things, by the time the game gets to Halo 6; they'll have lost a great deal of copies to people who won't even buy it anymore.

What about 5?

Ask this on Waypoint forums. Anyways,

1. Should be exclusive to certain levels, like the triple weapons on PoA glitch.

But a more better idea is that they should have a menu similar to AA True Soldiers: players can have up to 4 weapons, but players can wield only 2 at a time so they have to swap their current one for one of the other two via menu. This menu could come up by pressing select button or one of the directional inputs of the d pad.

Also, triple weapons would make it difficult to do the noob combo (assuming plasma pistol appears). It could be an option for custom games, but I say no for campaign.
2. Bungie didn't include dual wielding in Reach. I don't believe 343 had any involvement in that decision.
3. I disagree. It must be Arbiter.
4. N/A
5. N/A
6. It's so popular (or controversial) that it will probably be ignored. There's always the possibility of Master Chief saving the universe at the cost of all his friends and acquaintances so he lives a sad life and dies of old age.
7. N/A

Arrogant hyperbolic exclamations of woe? Seems like a normal day for Halo/Bungie.net.

If you didn't Play Halo: CE or Halo 2 MP, your opinion about Halo means nada.

CE + H2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> H3+Reach+H4

IDK if this was a troll thread or not, but either way it's retarded and horribly written.

  • 07.29.2011 9:55 AM PDT

You can already triple wield in H2, lol. Well, carry three weapons but you can use them.

Well, I heard he opens a bar and calls it 'The Big Grunty Thirst', and all his old enemies hang there (even his flood buddies).
