Well, let me start my post by clearing out the foggy questions hovering around here.
Halo Anniversary is just like ODST, only on one disc - the one exception though, is that this multiplayer disc ONLY has 7 maps - those from the Anniversary map pack, and nothing else. When you choose the option "Multiplayer" in Halo CEA, it will bring to Halo: Reach matchmaking. More on that in a second.
In Campaign, there is Splitscreen and Online Co-Op. Sadly, do to the Campaign engine being the exact same as the original, the technical limitations on this engine only allows 2-Player Co-Op.
Now for Multiplayer. I will say this right now: IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL PC MULTIPLAYER. You will only be able to access (from what I know) a special Anniversary Playlist that ONLY plays the new 7 maps. To make this Anniversary Playlist more like CE's original multiplayer, 343 is supposedly pulling off some special designer magic in the next Reach Title Update, which we will all here more about during Halo Fest at PAX.
