We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Plasma pistol, and the UNSC pistol will be your best friends. That is unless you find a power weapon and know how to use it.

"Die? Didn't you know? Spartans never die." - Kurt-051's last words.

1. Make sure you have cover when you need it.
2. Keep the Pistol with you while fighting the Covenant.
3. Shotgun and AR are your two main weapons against the Flood.
4. Spam grenades.
5. Take on one enemy at a time.
6. Use flanking techniques.

EDIT: 7. Plasma Pistol and Pistol is the best combo against the Covenant. However, use the Plasma Rifle if you prefer it.

Legendary Tips and Tricks:

1-The Plasma Pistol is your best friend, almost always worth carrying one.

2-Jackals will wear you out with their wicked fast trigger fingers, take them out first in all engagements where they are close enough to fire on you, hell, take em out first at all times, I hate them!

3-Throw plasmas at groups of covies BEFORE they spot you, they tend to react slower when it drops out of nowhere than if they see you throw it.

4-You have to be more methodical and patient in Leg as foes are more aggressive and overall show less fear just because you walked into the room in your fancy armor.

5-Develop some tactics, look at what is in front of you and come up with a plan on how to dispatch the covies, rather than just running in guns a'blazin.

6-Flood.......fight backing up or circling when you encounter groups.

7-You have to use the available cover much more when playing Leg, especially against flood, use corners to block their angle of fire when approaching you in groups and make sure you are take every chance to reload on the shotty, as even two extra triggers worth of mamma's buckshot can save your butt.

It's not camping, it's holding the designated location.

If you Preordered CEA, turn on Grunt Funeral.

You'll need more than luck. Good luck, anyways.

The plasma pistol OC bolt is your best friend.
Learn to toss stickies like rice at a wedding.
Ditch the AR. The best time to use it is when confronting active camo elites. It lights them up pretty good.
Enemy AI is pretty easy to judge when they are unaware of your presence. Observe a bit before making your attack. I usually start by tossing a few stickies.
The sniper and launcher are powerful weapons but don't rely on them too much. Lugging them around on AotCR gets bothersome.
Learn to drive the hog w/o getting hung up on terrain. A temporarily motionless hog is a grenade magnet.
Sneaking around bashing patrolling elites or sleeping grunts saves ammo and health.
Get over your fear of Hunters. They are less dangerous than grunts. You can easily beat a pair of them to death.
Picking up and then dropping enemy weapons keeps them from disappearing. You can come back for them.
Jackals are a pain. I usually OC plasma their shields or toss precious frags at them.
Elites will go to great lengths to avoid incoming grenades. It's pretty easy to get them to jump off cliffs this way.
Elites give off an angry bellow when mortally injured and will charge you to melee. It doesn't take much to finish them off.
Spec Ops Elites are wicked sticky throwers. All others just drop them for you to pick up.
Look for unusual angles where you can dish out the firepower but dramatically reduce return fire.
Marines last a pathetically short amount of time. Don't try too hard to save them.
A marine in a ghost is the most dangerous enemy of the chief. Kill every marine that climbs aboard.
Play around with the Needler. It's pretty cool and useful, but has a few quirks. Learn them.
