I see people posting that but I just re-read the last 100 pages of Ghost of Onyx and it DID NOT explode. The author described things happening to the planets surface but the core did not explode.

The surface of the planet was gone, revealing the planet to be made of interlocking sentinels. Two nukes were fired. The survivors only survived because they were propelled into a Micro Dyson Sphere.

The surface, not the Forerunner structure they found with all the hieroglyphs, transportation devices, and map. That was not made out of sentinels so you are wrong.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Not Onyx, Sigma 7 I do believe.
