Subject: Why Halo 3 and ODST are better then Reach.

I like Call of Duty and Gears of War, AND Halo. Why must everyone else like only one or the other?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. I can't take the Reach's idiocy, anymore
Just because you don't like the responses you get in a certain forum doesn't mean you can knowingly post in the wrong forum.

Actually, this isn't the wrong forum. The forum description is "Discuss the game universes of Bungie games." Since this thread discusses multiple games in the Halo universe, I'd say this thread fits here quite nicely.

Yeah, I don't wanna be a hater, but I just don't see Bungie as the same developer anymore. They seem to of fallen in that "multiplayer beats all" kind of mentality where the campaign can be mediocre, but the multiplayer has to be good. Which is why I don't like Bungie anymore and am glad 343 had taken the reigns for the Halo franchise. Hopefully they'll do a better job.

I agree with that. Judging by the lack of quality of the campaign, I'd say it seems Bungie did stop caring so much about a good campaign. (which is rather odd, given that they had just the year before released one of the best campaigns of the series, ODST) Which is too bad, because the campaign is really the main reason I get the Halo games. Hopefully, 343 will go back to focusing on the story.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I liked ODST more than Halo 3 and Reach put together.

Yep and, by the looks of it, they are. I watched the Halo panel and they said that they are going deep. Also, that the new trilogy will be a prequel and a sequel. That makes me happy. Not to mention they're coming out with new books like Karen Traviss's trilogy and Bear's Forerunner Saga. Overall, I've been very happy with 343, so far. I hope they continue really caring for the story.

Are you threating me?!!??

I don't think Halo 3 or ODST is better than Reach but I do think all Halo games are amazing in there own way.-This is my opinion.

Weapon of Oppression

Agreed.
Halo reach was a load of poo in the effort department.
But graphics and animations were top notch.

Oh, look, more forum patrol.

btw: This fits here just fine because it talks about the ODST, 3, and Reach campaign. So would you kindly STFU and if you have the time, no rush... pleasantly GTFO. Thank you. :)
