It's not camping, it's holding the designated location.

Recently I was looking at the CEA pics and on the logo behind the name (difficulty in-game) they replaced the Marathon symbol with 343 Guilty spark (I know they couldn't use it because of copyrights) Did anyone else notice this?

Don't quote me on this, but I think Microsoft own the rights to Halo now, as well as the intellectual property.

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

That's supposedly why it wasn't featured in Reach. It's a shame but what can you do? =/

Who cares? I'm sick of all the Marathon references anyways.

Also If you look at MCs visor, you can see a reflection of Spark on the upper right side.

If they get rid of the marathon symbol will Spark have a picture of himself on his eye(?)

That's a good thing. Bungie has wrecked the Halo series starting with Halo 3. 343 must dominate Halo!!

Bungie thought putting up invisible barriers would help the player stay on the mission and be immersed. It only distracted the player.

They thought by making the friendly AI kill for you would make the game easier. Sure it does, but it interferes with personal combat. I want to slaughter a bunch of Covies without Pelican interference on Sierra 117. And the worst part is, it kills indiscriminately. After getting some really good snipes, I get killed and have to do it all over again. And then there's Arby. I'm ok with him teleporting, but sometimes, it just gets on my nerves. Especially when he teleports during a battle.

They thought making the enemy AI have cheap stuff and making them last longer with more health would make them look smart. Sure, but to players who have played CE and 2, it is an easy to see facade. CE Elite AI felt smart, because they utilized simple moves, none of that fancy -blam!-, but also were smart.

/rant

Go 343, bring us back the CE days!! No restrictions, no killing off enemies, no interfering with our leisure and killing sprees, and no teleporting allies into battle.

I partly disagree, I thought Halo 3 was pretty good. I do agree with you regarding the enemy AI though. Halo: CE had the best enemy AI in the series.

Yeah, I think so too. I think Reach is worse.

I just cited Halo 3 as the start of the end because some of the problems in Reach can be found in 3, except they are more subtle. There wasn't as many complaints about 3 as there are with Reach. That's because 3 hid the problems. You had to play differently (i.e. take a detour, backtrack after triggering loading points, etc.) to notice the problems.

Agree, AI was great in CE. I remember one time, it actually made a mistake I would make:

I was in a hallway, grunts and a cloaked elite with a sword. I started shooting, elite ran at me, grunt chucked sticky, and accidentally stuck the elite. lol. Great AI. (This happened on Heroic difficulty.)

Grunts were designed to make funny mistakes like that though, I don't believe it's a flaw with the AI. Either way that's a funny story you got there.

The only AI I was slightly disappointed in CE with was the human AI. The marines would occasionally toss frags in your direction and wimpy Captain Keyes would never stay behind the super powered cyborg during the escort part of Truth and Reconciliation. Not to mention how many times I've gotten ran over by soldiers driving ghosts. However, I always found the humans poor AI funny rather than annoying.
