Don't know whats going to happen but I have been severely disappointed since E3 2007's amazing trailer featuring Cortana and John in an open wispy desert landscape. I wanted desert warfare with unbelievable long sniping and tank battles. How about the human's answer to a Scarab? I'm not trying to get all "mech" on you guys but look into the late Chromehounds' game-play. I wanted the despair that the music promised, the mania of Cortana present suggesting no one is guaranteed to be alive forever in the Halo Universe.

So now that the Franchise is under different management, you guys better pull through or Halo: Reach will be the last franchise game I ever buy. We're all getting older, let's get wiser too.

So you saw a desert with know tanks and assumed there would be a Tank Battle in a desert?

Well you assumed right, it's quite fun IMO. Also, why would the UNSC have a scarab equivalent? Just because we may have weapon counterparts doesn't mean we're the same. Besides, I don't believe we would need a vehicle that large for mining.

First of all I don't think you need to quote me if you're the next post. Anyway, why not? I also got really excited in Reach after Kat blew the Spire. There were so many warthogs, it's the closest I get to my fantasy. It is also why I dislike people skipping that cinematic online so much.

Here is another huge point: What is the deal with ads showing first person driving in the warthog and then not pulling through. That was really irritating.

Uh... I believe we had tank battles in the desert on the ark. Besides, the UNSC lacks legekolo. It would cost way too much to build one and would suffer from major drawbacks.
