Name's WIlliam,
For the love of God it's pronounced mister-shag, not misters-hag.
Halo 1 did not have any sort of Xbox Live multiplayer function as far as I am aware. Were you just stating the Halo 1 did not have online multiplayer, which is why the CEmake needs it?
Also, adding a variable such as bloom to the DMR does not make it entirely random. The better player will still win nine times out of ten, or at least that's what I have found.

The ONE thing that the Halo 1 Remake needed was multiplayer. It is literally the only aspect of the game that I can't re-experience right now. Halo 1 servers on Xbox Connect are empty and there is no Xbox live.
...
Killing an opponent with a random-blooming-rifle while flying on a jetpack may look cool in a trailer, but it is not competitive (or fun, imo). I would rather be known for sick pistol skills in H1 than DMR-bloom luck in Reach any day.
More on topic, my greatest fear with the CEmake is that 343i is not really making a game. Thus, we really can't judge their game-making prowess based on this product. This product is literally a game that is ten years old with hawt graphics running over the game's real graphics. I feel they should have made a unique product, or at least not used a product that was already made.
In summary: even though the game is being changed by 343i, Bungie made the game and thus 343i cannot be judged for the quality of the game.
