Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

You've been here how long and you don't know how to unlink a Gamertag?

You say you don't have access to your Xbox 360; try the account settings on xbox.com.

How does one go about doing this?
1. Recover the Xbox LIVE gamerag linked to your Bungie.net profile on a Xbox 360 console.

2. Sign in using the Xbox LIVE gamertag linked to your Bungie.net profile.

3. Go to My Xbox, and select your avatar.

4. Go to Account Management, and then select Manage Account.

5. Go to Your Information and then select Windows Live ID.

6. Select Change Windows Live ID.

7. Do one of the following:
a. If you have another Windows Live ID, select Yes.
b. If you do not have another Windows Live ID, go to Welcome to Windows Live ID, and click Sign up. Once you have another Windows Live ID, select Yes and continue with the next step.
Note Your Microsoft Points balance will automatically be transferred to the new Windows Live ID.
8. Enter the password for the Windows Live ID that is currently associated with your gamertag (same as signing into your Bungie.net profile), and then select Sign in.

9. Enter the email address and the password for the new Windows Live ID that you want to associate with your gamertag, and then select Sign in.

10. Select Yes, change to change the Windows Live ID associated with your Xbox LIVE account.

11. Select Update Contact Information to update your contact information, or select Done to finish.

NOTES :
* When you change your Windows Live ID, your Microsoft Points are automatically transferred to the new Windows Live ID.
* You can make only one Windows Live ID change for a given gamertag every 30 days.
* Before you can change the Windows Live ID associated with a child account, you must provide the Windows Live ID information for the adult account with parental control.
If you don't have access to a Xbox 360 console and you're attending PAX this year, I'll bring my console and help you out in person. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I need your clothes, your boots and your mobility scooter

I don't think you can change your email on Xbox.com

You'll probably just have to do it when you next get access to an Xbox.

Does anyone even read these?

I like how you bump the thread 30 minutes after his question was answered very in depth.

If you read the in depth reply, you would see it was about an Xbox 360 console. He said he doesn't have access to one. I like how you bumped this thread 2 minutes after me to point out something that made no sense.

No worries. I didn't realise the last post was half an hour ago either. The thread was still pretty near the top of the page because the forum is a bit inactive at the moment :/

Sorry if i was snappy, things on my mind.

I should have mentioned that you can only change the Windows Live ID of your Xbox LIVE gamertag on a Xbox 360 console. Unfortunately, there are no other solutions at this time.

I hate to drag this on, but it was my fault for not properly reading the posts in this thread, and I had a baddish end to my shift so my reply was a bit harsh. :P

Lets drop this now haha.
