Hey all! I'm going to be attending the AGC this coming week, and while browsing through a list of hundreds of attending companies, I came across many famous and well known names. However, I did not come across Bungie, which saddened me. Why? Though the conference is still in its infancy, having this being the second annual meeting of the minds, I had hoped to see everybody's favorite little 'gaming company of the people' there. I am certain that Bungie would have quite a view to share with the world.

...That and us Texans desire to see some Halo 2... but that's another topic for later.

Any attendees besides me out there? What are looking foward to hearing/seeing there?

If Bungie will be there (and I doubt they will), they would be listed as Microsoft most likely.

Ach! Was ist los?

If Bungie doesn't come, it's probably because (a), they're extremely busy, and (b), Redmond is at the other end of the country.

--Mr. Smith wishes Bungie would do something in Maine for a change.

This is correct.

Well, the listing of the attending companies is very divided, meaning that it is distincting between Microsoft and Microsoft Game Studios.

I guess we won't see them. Would be nice...

I live in Austin and have no idea how I don't know about this. Sounds
cool, but I don't think I meet the requirements to register. If the student
category includes high school I can though. Anyway, I think Austin is
a great place for game developers. The economy is very tech based
with Dell and a few other companies here, and it's a great city.

On a side note, Bungie should take over Austin. Chucky and
Hoberman both went to school here, (not sure if they lived here)and
they could easily win an election for mayor. One year a cross-
dressing hobo got 8% of the vote. His name is Leslie.
(No, I'm not kidding)

Long post short, Bungie should consider making stops in Austin in
the future, and eventually take it over.
