Subject: Addiction to Bungie.net forums

I've recently started delving into the Bungie.net forums , and posting to just about any topic . I've also made fairly popular threads and for some reason , I just cannot get enough of the Community . It's an addiction , and I love the feeling I get when I know that someone in an entirely different continent feels exactly the same thing .

I might be a bit weird by saying this , but I love long threads more then short simple ones . Moreover , I love long threads that have lot's of depth and insight to either providing information about Halo canon or multiplayer guides or tips .

The Bungie.net community is flourishing and is in great abundance of participating members . I think the addiction came shortly after reading the post about Bungie.net member ranks , and I've now started aiming for the royal blue bar .

This is one thing that contributes to my addiction , another thing is my Halo:Reach and 3 profiles . I love how just glancing at heat maps or weapons used can give me insight on how to approach the game in more efficient ways .

Something that is a little off putting about this community is that there is a lack of 'brotherly love' . I feel that there is no real way to express ones' opinions without being shot down entirely . I created a thread called Why Constructive Criticism is Helpful to the Bungie Forums and I found myself being dejected in such a big way . I feel that the Community needs to get together more frequently in either matchmaking or even the Community Carnage festivals to respect one another better .

So all in all , I have an addiction to the Bungie.net forums , and I don't know why . I don't want to know why , because I like it ...
Do you share this addiction ? If so post why !!!

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I was so addicted to the Reach forum before Reach came out and again during DLC release. Can't wait to discuss the new game or Aerospace!

Just enjoy the damn game!
Who cares about BR vs AR

When I get the chance to sign online, I instantly get addicted. But I go through massive times when I just don't have to the time to post. But now, in the summer holidays, I have the time I need.
I always come back to this forum, though sometimes I feel I don't know enough about the community or how bnet works to put in my two cents. Does that make sense?

I don't really have an addiction, but I do log on every day if I can. I tend to lurk more often than post, though.

Really? That's a little intense.
You might want to take a break for awhile.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
