Subject: Farewell, Bungie!

Listen to this while reading the following message... it will help set the mood...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For Bungie, the storm has passed. The war is over. But let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure, sacrifice, and unshakable conviction that their fight, our fight, was elsewhere.
As 343 takes over, this forum will remain a memorial to good times past. They ennobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I remember how this franchise started, the epic adventure on a majestic alien world full of serene beauty and numerous subtle innovations that have been borrowed by countless other games since. We are sad to see you off Bungie, but you have our thanks, for creating and developing the epic that Is HALO.

If you can't trust yourself, then don't trust anyone.

Bungie and halo will never end, as long as each have unlimited imagination, they will both succeed.

No, I do not want to join your clan/group.

I'll probably stick around the forums and site to see where Bungie goes in the future, but it's going to be weird seeing someone else in charge of Halo.

I've been amazed by how passionate Bungie seems to be about it's games and it's community, and by how regularly they interact with those fans. That passion and humbleness ensures them success with whatever they do, I think, and I hope it'll be a project I can enjoy with them.

I never had an original Xbox, so I always wondered what the big screaming deal about Halo was, and my first real chance to play it was the night in 07 or so when I bought my 360 and saw Combat Evolved on the marketplace.

I fell in love with the Halo franchise that night.

I'm pretty terrible at it; legendary is out of the question without help, though I could probably manage Heroic. I fail at multiplayer and only do decent at firefight...but I love Halo regardless.

Thanks for 10 amazing years of Halo, Bungie; best wishes for the future and hopefully next time around, I won't be as slow to jump on your bandwagon.

I didn't get into Halo until the later years of the franchise under Bungie, but I've always been amazed at the level of attention they pay to the game and the fans, even after they no longer needed to. Good luck in all your future endeavors Bungie, your guiding hand in the Halo universe will be gone but not forgotten.

Halo... Hehehe. The first time i played this game was over at my friends house. We were staying up late while eating M&M's, and he showed me the cover. He said it was a really awesome game, so i had to see it for myself.

I did not sleep that night.

I've had a great 8 years with you Bungie. Its quite disheartening to see you leave us. See you Starside guys!

Dear me I have not signed this card myself!

I have had a wonderful seven (Yes, I know) years with you and with Halo! I remember the first Halo game I ever played was Halo 2 and the flood used to scare the -blam!- out of me when I was a younger lad. But the thing that stayed with me the most was definitely the beautiful environments accompanied with the legendary music that just always seemed to evoke strong emotions and sometimes tug at the old heart strings!Gee, those were some damn good times.

Best of luck on your future projects and keep on interacting with and caring for your community that loves you!

Sincerely, A Loving Fan.

Gonna miss that beautiful music. Gotta feeling the next game will have just as awesome music as ever though.

even though the ten year-long party is finally over, I'm not leaving yet. There are still more parties to come, and they're worth enjoying.
