So I've been reading a bunch of people whining about no classic multiplayer and not wanting the reach multiplayer, well there's several reasons they did this.
One: put another halo multiplayer on the market and the reach multiplayer will be split and empty, so basically wasting money on unused servers.

Two: it won't feel the same, these guys remember getting friends together with some pizza, drinks and several Xbox's. Halo:ce the multiplayer there was more personal, you could trash talk friends and not offend people, punch the guy who keeps killing you and talk between each other about stuff. Nowadays it won't feel the same playing against people you don't know, those retards who won't shut up or turn down their microphone. So all said and done, it's not as fun.

Three: it will be too bland for people of this day and age, let's see a tank a ghost and a warthog, um that's all for vehicles, just a few guns laying in certain areas, dang it I picked up an empty gun!, why cant I choose my class and have all these awesome perks and abilities? We all look the same, I want to be different.

I enjoy the classic, and will be happy if they had original multiplayer but I see why they won't, just letting others know too, hopefully they understand what I'm getting at.

John Hancock

Nostalgia will bite you in the ass. I somewhat agree that any attempt to recreate the LAN scene will not be perfect. The new Reach engine is a good vehicle for updating a classic with forge mode helping to even out the bumps.

Agreed, lets just be thankful that they are keeping some of the maps, and are recreating the campaign.

How could I forget about the campaign? That is my favorite, even to this day.
