Jezuz I'm not a troll.

Is that why you called us -blam!-s?

I still stand by my prediction that John will stay behind with the Forerunner. Acting as guardian of something incredibly important; never to be seen again.

"Prediction" or theory? i am staying away from that area since it is all conjecture and nothing behind it hence my ignoring rob for once.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

We should know better, because we are better.

Kill him off in a blaze of glory or have him ascend to a higher plane of existence. 343 are going too have too do one of those things if they want my respect. Anything else would be horrible.

And besides, people bred for war are doomed to die in it. There is no way around it. You choose death and destruction, death and destruction chooses you (Sek ftw).

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Incorrect, we always survive!

OT: The OP has always been a trolling idiot like this, John settling down and living a normal life makes no sense at all because that's not what he's supposed to be. He is not your Average Joe, he's a genetically augmented supersoldier indoctrinated into the military. Your idea of John's next grand adventure at the end of Halo 6 must be a game all about John adjusting to civilian life when he could go out fighting and doing something that matters.

Makes you think, doesn't it? Since light travels faster than sound, is that why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?

Ahh it's you. Been a while hasn't it? We WILL finish this.

Just you wait.

Meh they can't make really own him forever. After the events in the new halo trilogy finish we wont have a need for a super soldier. And finding parissa he would have to tell her that he got kidnapped and that would be revealing classified info.

Yes, because the human race as a whole is really going to understand the kidnapping of children to be raised as genetically altered/augmented super soldiers and then creating cloned humans to die in their place to cover the tracks is going to take that revelation well.

My Lord you are naive.

Oh lord. Remember ambrose? Oni could give him a new identity and he can go on and live peacefully. And the dude who showed the picture of chief on a Monday morning or something like that. LOL. I see your point but I would not want to show us his normal new life. Just hint it in a journal or book.

Also the the theme with spartans never die. I've always seen chief as more than a spartan. And a good amount of people would be okay with this.

Look the main point of him living a normal life is to see what he has protected and preserved. To see whether it was worth 27 years of war against a genocidal alien alliance and a parasitic life form. Dont you think it would give chief a good way to get sone peace. If I were john I would not want to die after protecting the human race but never knowing if it was worth it. Whether humanity deserved preservation.

Doesn't any one see my point?

Difference being Kurt was still under ONI's control and wasn't allowed to go into civilian life.

What normal life? As it has been mentioned before, Chief is barely human. He never had a normal life and while Maria was able to make it, she has not seen or experience a quarter of what Chief did.

Also the the theme with spartans never die. I've always seen chief as more than a spartan. And a good amount of people would be okay with this.

Prove that.

And that is why you would never be a Spartan. You only care about yourself, they were made to protect Earth and all of her colonies. He never questioned anything. And besides, the Covenant were dismantled, humanity survived, and the threat of the Flood is reduced for now, I think he doesn't doubt everything he and the UNSC did was worth it.

Doesn't any one see my point?

Nope, besides, we're all just -blam!-s to you, why should we care?

It's, rather, a 'want' of mine. I guess I have nothing to back up what I would like for his final fate, but it's just something I hope for. Or something similar.

The fate of Goku, from the Dragonball series, is probably the closest comparison I can make. The way he absorbed the Dragonballs, and then disappeared with Shenron. He ascended to lord knows what status, and seemingly became the guardian of the titular items; disappearing forever (well, he made a small cameo).
