God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3

We find ourselves at a crossroads, a time of great change, the slow and methodical handing over of all things halo from bungie's loving hands to 343I's yearning bosom.

Time will only tell what is in store for bungie next, be it an amazing RPG, an expansive online world, or yet another thrilling, revolutionary FPS.

None can truly say, however, Halo has been given to the hands of the loving folks over at 343I, a new group of young and talented minds, putting there best hopes and abilities into the future of halo, and where it shall go to next.

So let us discuss 343I's, and Bungie's future in celebration of the past, present, and future of both of these amazing companies, one grizzled and full of wisdom, the other full of ideas and fresh new talent.

So much to come from both, What amazing things will our eyes behold in the coming years, I my friends cannot wait to see what the future of gaming holds, especially with two amazing companies such as Bungie and 343I leading the way!

TLDR

Lets talk about the future of bungie and 343I and our love of bungie and it's baby, halo.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

What's the deal with their last "Halo era Vidoc"? I thought it was supposed to be on their new game.

No, its a tribute to the last 20 years, it goes for 1 hour and can be downloaded from August 4th

I grew up playing your games Bungie, and I sure as hell am looking forward to whatever you decide to do next.

The one hour vidoc will be symbolic of this truly marvelous new age of Bungie. I for one hope they do something fresh and awesome like an RPG or 3rd person action game.

"The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit,
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it."
-Omar Khayyám-

Well if we look at their previous games: Pathways Into Darkness, Marathon, Myth, and Oni series, we can tell that the games focus on story more than anything else.

We can infer from that fact which proves an awesome story for Bungie's new IP.

We can also infer that it will have a broad interactivity meaning goals to accomplish(I draw heavily upon the terminals of Marathon).

So we can infer extensive playability. Bungie has done mainly FPS, and one revolutionary RTS game(s).

We can only infer of these previous titles and common sense that Bungie's newest IP will be heavily interactive, addictive, EXTENSIVE re-play value, and just an awesome online community to enjoy it with.

We can expect wonderous things in the near future from Bungie as we, yet again, pave the way unto a new world and frontier with which to celebratory crouch repeatedly onto the faces of our enemies.

If somebody's opinion is being smashed and nobody's helping, I try and help. I use logic and extensive vocabulary (and sometimes self-destructive circular reasoning) to confuse my enemies into submission. Fear me, trolling, fapping creatures of the night. For I. Am your worst nightmare.

Goodbye Bungie.

Let's use these lyrics from our very own Marshal Mathers to give to Bungie.

Cause I remember all those years
How it was when you were here
I remember how it was, how it was when you were young
Yesterday was so long ago (long ago)
