By sharp and flame; a friend of a friend.

I am disappoint.

I ordered the Bungie Town Poster when it came out, and it FINALLY came yesturday. I was hoping to keep it in mint condition, incase it might be worth more in years to come (I doubt it anyway) but when I opened the package the cardboard tube was dented in. Now the poster is all creased and bent.

*Super sad face*

Anybody know how to get these damages out?... I doubt its possible...

Anyone else buy it?

Make choices, and don't look back.

I got it a day or two ago. It was bent in the middle, but you can't really tell when it's in the frame.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Google 'poster repair'.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

Contact Bungie. They may be nice enough to replace it.

If you want to preserve it why not frame it or laminate it... Laminating it will preserve it forever, just keep it out of direct sunlight. Or fire.

Sunlight I get- the rays could hurt the picture. But why keep it out of fire?

Got a question, comment, or concern? PM me.

Put something heavy on the crease and hope it comes out.

I suggest a brick

I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

of course, there are people who make a living off restoring paintings. It might not be cheap, I have no idea, but they should be able to help.

If you can't trust yourself, then don't trust anyone.

put it in a shredder, and put it back together. Piece by piece.

Fire likes to eat plastic :)

Don't put a brick on it find something heavier. put a decent sized book like a phone book on the crease and then put weight on. Also don't try to do this on carpet use a very flat and smooth surface lol. I like posters okay, I also dis-like creases very much so.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Almost the same happened when I received mine; the bottom of the tube popped out so it allowed a major crush in that end of the tube. It's very noticeable on the back, but the front, not so much unless you look at it carefully.

I'd really recommend a frame though, I can hardly even see the bends, creases, or crumples on mine.

Suffice to say, I'm proud of the product but despise the shipping methods. I mean really, how hard is it to handle packages with care?

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Try putting it in a frame. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you.
