OK, My friend let me borrow his copy of Halo 2 pc (along with product key). I successfully installed and played it for a month.

THEN, one day it said application could not be opened.

SO, I bought a new copy, uninstalled the old one, then installed the new one.

STILL, it said "application could not be opened."

WHAT should I do? Is there a recent update I'm missing?

BY THE WAY, I've used the same computer throughout (Windows 7 64-bit).

I called MS support, they told me to install essentials, run as administrator, etc. Not of that worked, and they put me on callback.

This is what you should do.

Step 1: Get rid of that peice of trash.
Step 2: Buy Halo 1 if you don't already have it.
Step 3: Play the game you just got and realise how much better it is then that other worthless peice of trash.

This should help.

I already have it and it sucks. 360 controller doesn't work well, resulting in poor gameplay.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

I already have it and i hate it. 360 controller doesn't have auto-aim and i can't aim for myself because i'm garbage.

Fixed that for ya.

The game does not suck. You suck, your computer probably sucks, and you have horrible taste in video games.

Here is an idea...
Since you obiously are not good at games that take skill, and cannot figure out how to fix a noobified trashfest (Halo 2) then you should do one or all of the following:

1: Get a life.

2: Stop complaining.

3: Admit that the game is fine, that you suck at it, and that you should find somthing better to do.

4: GTFO this forum.

I could easily make a long comback to this, but you are not worth the effort. Go play your trash game... oh wait... it is broken and you are too stupid to fix it, and you don't have the intelligence to do good in a game that takes some skill so you call that game bad. Nevermind then.
