For some odd reason they locked the thread, despite how much fun I was having.
So...care to back your claim up or what ?

Okay, first off I'd like to ask how many 120mm HEAT rounds fired at very high velocity an Abrams can take.

I am an orange mist amongst a sea of blue, so my flames may stand out and represent all those who trully believe in this great sacriment of Bungie history, let my story be told as the only legendary still standing even after I fall Just as my comrades did so graciously to fight for the true loyal.
If you have legendary, would you stand by my side and go forth into a sea blue and demise as my brothers fighting for those who are trully loyal to Bungie?

Are we talking about and Abrams and a Real Grizzley or a Halo Grizzley from Halo Wars?
If real life I'll go with the abrams for duribility, strength, speed, fire rate, shell size, equipment, a few others that make it my favorite. That's just an opinion.

We are talking about the "Super Grizzly" or Project Grizzly, it was a project Akin to the Spartan program in it's exploration of genetic enchancement but all the subjects were bears. The Idea was to land them secretly by known rebel compounds and just have the bears terrify support away from the insurgent cause. The program predictibaly went way over budget, hitting numerous delays and several near disasters. In one case, the bear chewed threw 1" thick bars and went on a rampage in a rural community, after the messy coverup ONI lost all faith in the project.

The program canceled in 2539, but rumors of sightings persist to this day.

Uh, no.

First thing, we don't know much about Grizzly and I don't know where that Cmdr got info that Grizzly uses HEAT rounds. (Cdmr, please provide a source for that info)

And, it has been proven countless that it takes mutliple hits to penetrate the Abrams armor. Because of what? different types of armor! It has: depleted uranium plates/meshes, Rh armor, Chobham armor and kevlar meshes which it is DESIGNED to STOP the HE rounds, HEAT rounds, RPGs, etc.

so, we can't really start to pairing Abrams vs Grizzly because of lack of information on Grizzly tanks. So I don't know why OP brought it up again despite it was locked because of off topic thread.

http://www.halopedian.com/M310_smooth-bore_high-velocity_cann on Their source being the halo wars guide, which I don't have.

Multiple hits isn't very concrete in number... Could be 3, could be 15.

Raganok, the fact that you corrected me with an extremely vague number is what I was pointing out.

Depends on HEAT rounds used by Grizzly. Also it depends on muzzle velocity as well. We would know better if they provided us with info on muzzle velocity, range of fire, rate of fire, information on HEAT rounds in UNSC, what they use for HEAT rounds. With that I can calculate how much firepower is for Grizzly then compare at Abrams.

But my point stands, Abrams have extremely good armor, had high durability against any modern tanks and against scorpion.

And Cmdr, I see now. In case, I'll purchase that essential visual guide at sometime in September or October.

As seeing that Abram's M256 120mm smoothbore gun, it has muzzle of velocity of: 1,580 m/s to 1,750 m/s (5,200 f/s to 7,200 f/s) It is possible that Grizzly may have higher muzzle velocity but it is now uncertain until we get new information.

Now you're talking more sense.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

These two tanks should not be compared. The information on the grizzly is to vague.

If the debate can't be based off this then it doesn't need to be posted.

you yourself admitted that we don't know anything about the grizzly so why are you making this?
