This is an ongoing battle between Rap and Rock. Frankly i think its a no brainer. Rock involves tallent. Wheres the talent in rap? i mean, the ppl dont even write their own music! they just talk into a mike and play a repeditave beat in the background. and the videos... GAG!!! if i wanna see a bunch of half naked chicks dancing to bad music ill go to a Hoedown.
and dont gimmy that BS about rap being a poem from the heart. i mean, wich sounds more like a poem to you?
He like "What up, 50?"
I'm like "What up with you"
Lance had a reputation that was well earned
Heard he taught -blam!-s how them shells burn
Out there in Red Firm
At the dice game, he rolled ahead, crapped in the crack
I'm like "Nah, I ain't paying for that! -blam!-, shoot it back"
-blam!-s lookin at me like I'm crazy, they shook
I don't give a -blam!- who he shot out in Red Hook
Asked him about ??
Yeah, Bizzy was my man till he beat me for ten grand and sold my Mac for
seven grand (-blam!- crazy)
The man was crazy I could tell by his look
Cause he looked the way I look
When I look for a jooks
-blam!-
or
in pitch dark i go walking in your landscape.
broken branches trip me as i speak.
just because you feel it doesnt mean it's there.
just because you feel it doesnt mean it's there.
there's always a siren
singing you to shipwreck.
(don't reach out, don't reach out)
steer away from these rocks
we'd be a walking disaster.
(don't reach out, don't reach out)
just because you feel it doesn't mean it's there.
(there's someone on your shoulder)
just because you feel it doesn't mean it's there.
(there's someone on your shoulder)
point proven.
(quote 1 was some dumass 50 cent song)
