seriously halo was and still is one of the most played and popular games known to man..... the stuff you could of improved and made it even bigger! but no you give it up and let 343 take over not that iv got anything against 343 they make halo 4 even better than normal but it just wont be the same... you dig? yes this sounds like a regular halo fanboy message but you,ve made many gamers very entertained so i guess this is goodbye??? we will see in future reference.

Bungie will still be around, the just won't be dealing with Halo anymore. They are more than a one-trick pony.

You're asking people to state which non-released game they like better?

It's like asking a virgin whether they like being on top or on bottom.

You are obviously 12 and you don't realize what parent company independence is.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

It's not their fault. Bungie was originally owned by Microsoft which is why Microsoft has the rights over Halo. IMO I think the departure from Halo is a good thing, not because the universe can't be expanded, it can, but because Bungie will have full control over their next title without Microsoft bossing them around (ex: $60 ODST price tag, personally I think that was MS but don't quote me).

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

I'm glad Bungie is releasing Halo.

Not because I don't like what Bungie has done with the place, but Reach really felt like the Episode One of Halo as far as it's contributions to the canon are concerned.

Sure it all fit into place, but figuring out how felt like trying to get the square through the triangle hole with the help of a Sledge Hammer.

Unfortunately, it seems like 343 isn't going to be filling in blanks about the other Spartan IIs either, which is what I've been wanting since I finished The Fall of Reach back in 03' and rather, adding new stuff to an already quite large universe.

At this point, I'm not sure if I'll be sticking with Halo. I most likely won't be pre-ordering H4, but that's not to say it's only because it's not a Bungie game.

Their contract ended and they got bored making Halo.

I highly disagree with you on getting bored, its like a dream come true for them, and a dream never dies. It is hard to make a game. its like they have so much weight on there shoulders. every pixel was detailed for your enjoyment. there is honestly nothing out there like it. they even said it during the making of reach, it was most likely going to be the last one they work on. but i think the reason being, they don't want turn it into just another "shooter" like COD. just like Super smash bros, and MVC. "Its Just Something that Leaves Its Mark In Gameing History" No Need to ruin that.
