Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall my return.

I have a script that places such a link beneath a user's post.
However, to do it with a vanilla Bungie.net, the only way I have found is to search a user's latest posts and then link to them that way.

There may be another way, but I'm uncertain.

Not that. Like making a link jump directly to a specific post.

Go to their post history, and copy the desired post from the URL.

Make choices, and don't look back.

Go to the person's profile and look at their latest forum posts. The click the thread and copy and link.

Like so

What I do is reply to the message you want to link, you should see a url like so...http://www.bungie.net/Forums/createpost.aspx?postID=6407 6710&act=reply. Take note of the postID# with this url it is 64076710. Now just replace the post ID you want to link into the following url.

http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=

So in the end you will get a URL like so

http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=64076710

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Go to their post history, and copy the desired post from the URL.

This is the simplest way.
