=PAT= are not what they claim to be.
I've seen =PAT= members tking, flag stealing, racially harrasing people, and spouting torrents of abuse at new players.
These kids are just immature and love making life a misery for others.
Just try to play when they are at school and you should'nt have any problems. :o)

The members of the =PAT= clan often get imitated by the TKers themselves, trying to soil their good name. In your case it looks like they succeeded. Profile names can easily be mimicked, the REAL =PAT= members are descent people.

Also they can't be on the server all the time, and you can't give out rcon access to just anybody. There should be a TK auto-ban but if he was IP jumping there nothing you can do.

My suggestion if you like playing on that server is get on the =PAT= members X-fire names and contact him the next time you see that happening.

That is why most of us at =PAT= are leaving Archnear/ Our oriningal Tlantag is too easy to impersonate and people like Chief Funk have garnered us a bad repuatation. Anyways, most of us are leaving =PAT= for a new clan called TUI with alt codes. That way, we can never be faked.

No it was any PAT clan members or imposters just a bunch of tking -blam!-s in the server with no way to get rid of them. Sorry wasn't flaming PAT itself just letting you guys know about the server abuse . Sorry for the misunderstanding. And you're right Igg but due to my imposter problems I'm still leary about posting or giving out my X-fire name .

Face it, Halo is diseased. Even Shishka is in denial. Anyone who took a 48 hour look at the filth going on the Bungie servers, anyone with a conscience would get violently ill seeing the way people treat each other, and teach each other to treat people. If they had a heart they'd toss a few bucks into the kitty and get some people moderating the servers. But no, they turn a blind eye, which is typical Micro$oft behaviour. The former PAT server is bound to get some of the overrun from the Bungie ones. It's sick. People can TK even when all friendly fire is turned off. I hate Bungie and I'm beginning to hate Halo too. Irresponsible bastards. Nick can't do anything, we can't do anything, and Bungie simply will not do anything. They're the ones with the power and they choose to ignore our suffering.

You make it sound like Halo is exclusively full of people like that. I'd say online gaming in general is. Go on any game, even CounterStrike, the most popular (supposudly), it's full of cheaters, "anti-cheating programs" or not. Bungie is more responsive to their community than any other gaming company. And uh, Shishka isn't in denial. Where did he say that?

I wouldn't say Steam's the best in the world per se...I mean, sometimes I'd rather just live with the damned hacks and TKers instead of waiting a half hour for Steam to finish its business and for the game to load up properly.

Oh, yes, impersonators. Alt-codes help some, but they're not fool-proof. The best method is to grab a copy of Xfire so you can be sure of who's who in the game.

And, to be honest, I take it as a sign of respect or reverence when someone tries to impersonate you. They would be wasting their time if they impersonated someone without a face online. They only try to soil those who have a reputation or those who promote a decent cause (as in the case of PAT).
