All i can really say is thank you to all the people at Bungie for making this community what it is today. I will always remember Halo and Bungie will always be attached to it. You've impacted my life for the better and ive been with you the whole way. That Vidoc was the perfect way to end a chapter and start a completely new one. I will be with you every step of the way. You have the talent the people and the ambition to make something even more incredible.

I agree, I have only 1 word to describe it... EPIC.

Thank you Bungie for this 20 years and also thank you for the many more that will surely follow, I can't wait to see what your next game will be like.

2/15/12: Francisco Porras, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace.

Did you cry a little? By the sound of it I'm probably going to.

Stop being a lazy ass and stop trolling through the forums, play video games!

Bungie is well, part of my life, I feel like a no-lifer there, but aren't we all? It's changed me more ways than I can think. I would have to thank my dad for picking up Halo CE at Wal-Mart in 2001 and letting me play it at 5 years old.

Its hard not to after what most of us have been through after the 20 years Bungie has been around. Its not just a game its an experience and a community.

I did and IDGAF if people judge me for it, after all Bungie studios have been part of my gaming life for several years, as another poster allready stated, it is not only the games, it is the community.

I want to be witty in my reply, and usually I try my best to do just that.

But I've got to be honest, I've got so much respect for Bungie has a whole, that all I can bring myself to do right now is say thanks. It's odd to me (yet completely fitting) that I can go full circle from barely writing anything about something I don't like if at all (not Bungie related), to writing tons about something I do love, to having so much gratitude towards something, that I have absolutely nothing to say other than a sincere "Thank you".

So yeah. Thank you.

Most people who were here until a few days ago don't understand what this community is and what Bungie is too a lot of us. Halo and Oni showed me what video games can really be. I went from playing Pokemon and Crash Bandicoot to playing games with depth, story, and good, solid, kick-ass gameplay. And I have only Bungie to thank for it.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

I think the vidoc made me realize that Bungie is doing the best they can and they really do want to make games They want to play. They don't really let the haters bother them.

That's good. But hearing that Reach was the best Halo? No.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't address any issues in the Vidoc they had with Reach. I understand they wanted to try something new and different, but that didn't go well.

Even though many of us didn't enjoy Reach, I think most of us in this community fail to realize how hard it really is to create a video game and be pushed with deadlines because we have never gone through that.

Halo 3 had crashed so many times in development. If it wasn't for that and the deadline I'm sure Bungie could have given it a longer lasting campaign, but they did good anyway.

Halo 2 was rushed from what I heard, but I still think that they hit the nail in the head and made Halo the greatest video game out there.

As for ODST's campaign I'll have to disagree with most Bungie employees on this one. I believe that Halo 1 was the best campaign Bungie has ever put together.

I personally believe that the community and the employees should work together on Bungie's next game. I'm just tired of seeing the complaining and whining that went on in the Halo: Reach forum. People forget that making games isn't easy. Jason's right. No one gives a -blam!- if it took 2 seconds to make a game or 6 years. As long as it's fun and enjoyable.

Halo is what got Bungie to be huge. I will be looking forward to Bungie's new universe.

I know these people can make cool -blam!-. They just need to hire the right talent for their secret sauce.

Also to Bungie: People will complain about everything in a game. Just ignore the stupid ones and address the ones that can actually be detrimental to the game.

I know this stuff is hard, but I'm confident that you can pull this off and kick ass again.

They just need to get their touch back. Once that happens, there will be far less complaints I am sure.

They wanted to try something new a different with Reach. That's why most fans weren't happy in the end. It felt too different and not many had fun with the game.

Hopefully the new universe will not flush Bungie down the drain.

Again. I'm sure Bungie can do just fine.

Good luck to all at Bungie.

I'm pretty sure that you and I have nostalgia-ed over Oni and other PS2 classics before. I wish Oni would get a sequel or a port to PS3.

I actually started off with Halo at a very young age so at the time i didn't know Bungie. Once i hit this website i knew Bungie and the real love began to flow haha.

I am just speechless. I watched the whole thing right when I first saw it and it was absolutley incredible. I wish I could express the gratitude and emotion I feel right now. You will always be a part of us Bungie!

Usually the good lord works in mysterious ways. BUT NOT TODAY. This here is 66 tonnes of straight up, HE spewing divine intervention. If God is love, then you can call me Cupid.

The ViDoc made me nostalgia so hard, going to miss them developing halo games. But at least we are getting a brand new (and potentially awesome) IP to fall in love with all over again.

See you Starside Bungie.

Seems like it, I still ahv emy ONI cipy for PC and PS2 (And a sealed one too woot!) and I return to play it every now and then, also I agree an ONI sequel would be just amazing, or at least allowing us to download it via PSN or XBL marketplace (I own both consoles)

"I don't care if it's God's own anti-Son of a -blam!- Machine or a giant hula-hoop!"

The ViDoc was great. I'm quite glad I put everything on hold for the day.

I've never played it on PC. Just my PS2 (almost everyday). The only games i've played more are SotC and Kingdom Hearts.

I completely agree. It's kinda like that new scary/excited feeling you got with the beginning of the Halo experience where you have nothing to go off of, no comfortable feeling or saftey net. Like Christmas morning as a young lad having absolutely no idea what you're gonna get.

You know, the good stuff:]

IT is good but having gotten used to the PS controllers adjusting to the keys on the PC can take a bit of time.
