Freedom has two parts: potential and resolution; as metaphors have two parts : form and interpretation; of course, the two are intertwined. Metaphor lines the road to freedom, as symbols and words are the bricks and mortar of meaning. Freedom being the briocoleus, the mason.

Okay, so here's what I can assume is the beginning of the plot of the new Bungie game, "Destiny".

In this new game you play as a Dutchman in the 22nd century. You were born and raised on a quaint wind farm 30 miles outside Amsterdam. One day a pod of some sort comes hurtling out of nowhere and smashes into the middle of your wind farm, damaging some of your windmills in the process. You begin to curse the heavens for destroying your precious wind mills and then go to investigate the pod.

Inside, you find a spacesuit. A suit of armor, an uninformed passerby might call it. It's visor's shape is the same as the Destiny Logo. Inside is also some sort of gun you've never seen before, being a quaint wind-farmer. You decide to try on the armor because all you have to wear are the old rags your father left you when he died 4 years ago in the great wind farm fire of 2145.

When you do you feel elated. Putting on the suit was definitely the right thing to do. You can just feel it. You then pick up the gun to inspect it. It seems to be a normal gun, though you dont remember ever seeing anything like it. You fire it at a nearby windmill, assuming no harm will be done since your windmills are made out of a titanium alloy that even several millenniums of weathering could not destroy.

When you fire the gun it eats through the wind mill as if it was your fathers sponge cake. The wind mill falls over, to your dismay, in one sweeping motion. You then look inside the pod for anything else. Once you enter, you see the pod closes. You try to find your way out but you cant. The pod shoots away into the stars where you have adventures and stuff.

Thats just speculation of course.

Exactly 30 seconds into the documentary comes this image. Now that little poster on the wall of the building I've circled might just happen to show the word DESTINY and the wierd symbol on it. The only reason I say this is in 720p I see 7-letters spelling out DESTINY and then an upside down triangle. It is NOT clear and I have no recollection of what is going on at Bungie. Just something I figured I'd share.

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

Obviously Destiny, but we should be focusing more on those mountains and windmills.

Very cool find.

I cropped the image off the vidoc on 720p, and went into photoshop. I tried to sharpen the poster without making the image unreadable. Link.

A bit clearer.

I'm pretty exited for their next game, whatever it is. Although I really hope they stick to FPS. That's just me though.

Same. But, like i've said on other threads, I think they've worked too hard on the game mechanics and such of an FPS for them to throw it all out and start another genre.

Plus, Bungie's always been secretive with almost everything they do. They love to watch us over analyze everything they do. If they could, they would have us do 10 hours of research just to find the link to go to the site where you can buy their next game.

I'm flattered but I don't think Bungie is in the business of hiring 15(almost 16) year olds. Plus I don't have working papers. :P
