Subject: What you thought about the Vidoc?

I cried a tear of joy at the end. It was such an amazing piece. Did you cry? Did you laugh? What did you think? Leave your comments below. And let's give a big thanks to Bungie!

Oh, and what did you think about their new game bits they showed, like the sand and windmills, and the mountains, and the day to night seen?

I'm always love seeing these 'behind the scenes' videos because i think i'd take their work for granted otherwise.

really amazing work Bungie <3

What doesn't kill you, only makes you stranger

I don't know why, but I thought of Borderlands when I saw the Windmills.

Anyway. I loved it. I'm going to miss Bungie's Halo, but I will gladly accept 343's.

Stop being a lazy ass and stop trolling through the forums, play video games!

I had chills the whole time and was tearin up a little. I'm with Bungie no matter what the situation.

I'm with you there. I'll stick with Bungie forever too.

I absolutely loved it. Now, Bungie, will you please release the Destiny/Tiger forum?

  • 08.04.2011 11:13 AM PDT

Make choices, and don't look back.

I don't say the word "awesome." Usually "dude" doesn't come out of my mouth. But the truth is, the game is awesome dude ^_^

I was smiling through the entire thing. It's great to see these guys working so hard on things they love, for us, the community. Truly inspiring stuff right there.

This cave is not of a natural formation.

I though it was awesome and I really can't wait to see their next game. There were a lot of moments throughout that video that made me nostalgia.

It is inspiring. It shows that even in the hardest time, you do it for what you love, not what you want.

Also, THUMBS UP for Geoff and Burnie!

Glass Galaxies - a theme for bungie.net

Per audacia ad astra. Halo Reach | Destiny

The fact that Jones referred to Destiny as "Tiger" at the end was enough proof for me - as if I'd even needed it - that Destiny is a 'WoW in space' MMOFPS as rumoured.

Now we play the waiting game.

I did too and IDGAF if people judge me for it, after all Bungie studios have been part of my gaming life for several years, it is not only the games, it is the community that developed through the years, but then again you must be new here, let me guess only played Halo? and since when? never played Myth, ONI, Marathon?

Whats the matter tough guy, afraid of your feelings? a man afraid of his feelings is weaker than one wich accepts them.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

-Gandalf

I think the vidoc made me realize that Bungie is doing the best they can and they really do want to make games They want to play. They don't really let the haters bother them.

That's good. But hearing that Reach was the best Halo? No.

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't address any issues in the Vidoc they had with Reach. I understand they wanted to try something new and different, but that didn't go well.

Even though many of us didn't enjoy Reach, I think most of us in this community fail to realize how hard it really is to create a video game and be pushed with deadlines because we have never gone through that.

Halo 3 had crashed so many times in development. If it wasn't for that and the deadline I'm sure Bungie could have given it a longer lasting campaign, but they did good anyway.

Halo 2 was rushed from what I heard, but I still think that they hit the nail in the head and made Halo the greatest video game out there.

As for ODST's campaign I'll have to disagree with most Bungie employees on this one. I believe that Halo 1 was the best campaign Bungie has ever put together.

I personally believe that the community and the employees should work together on Bungie's next game. I'm just tired of seeing the complaining and whining that went on in the Halo: Reach forum. People forget that making games isn't easy. Jason's right. No one gives a -blam!- if it took 2 seconds to make a game or 6 years. As long as it's fun and enjoyable.

Halo is what got Bungie to be huge. I will be looking forward to Bungie's new universe.

I know these people can make cool -blam!-. They just need to hire the right talent for their secret sauce.

Also to Bungie: People will complain about everything in a game. Just ignore the stupid ones and address the ones that can actually be detrimental to the game.

I know this stuff is hard, but I'm confident that you can pull this off and kick ass again.

They just need to get their touch back. Once that happens, there will be far less complaints I am sure.

They wanted to try something new a different with Reach. That's why most fans weren't happy in the end. It felt too different and not many had fun with the game.

Hopefully the new universe will not flush Bungie down the drain.

Again. I'm sure Bungie can do just fine.

Good luck to all at Bungie.
