My Fat Baby Loves to EAT

Thank you Bungie you don't know how much Halo has positively affected my life

  • 08.04.2011 5:22 PM PDT

This brought back such a wonderful flood of memories. The first being my father and I playing Halo 1 over one Christmas vacation. Unique considering my father was in his late fifties at the time and I was in my late twenties. This was repeated for Halo 2. My Dada has played and finished every Halo game and he is now 62 and still playing strong!

The second being my time in graduate school, playing hours upon hours of LAN and XBox live Halo 2 games. While I did obtain my PhD, I'm certain the 6000+ Halo 2 games delayed my research greatly, thus delaying my graduation...it was definitely worth it.

Such wonderful memories I will cherish always.

It's going to be a long and difficult wait for the news on their next project.

Turkey

I almost cried, too. I got chills several times.

On top of the chills of epicness, I also have Iron Maiden stuck in my head now, thanks to the title of the ViDoc. Things couldn't have turned out more awesome.

LOOKING FORWARD TO TIGER.

This is where I go to burn off some steam from all that repressed anger I have. If I insulted you on b.net, don't take it literally.

It was epic. Halo is the best game.

I aspire to be part of a company with a vision like bungie's. Making cool -blam!- in my basement.

“We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.”-Charles R. Swindoll

I shed a tear..

Bungie.net is the only website that has been able to hold my interest for such a long period of time, and I can only imagine there are still many years to come.

This is the reason why I will never leave this community.

Kinda pathetic of you eh?

*College *Programming *Gaming

I started Starori games in 2011.

No one has the right to take the life of another.

Amazing ViDoc and good times! I can't wait to see what's next!

The ViDoc was awesome. I didn't get into Halo until 2005, I think, when I was a senior in high school. I got Halo CE and then Halo 2 a month or so later. Then I found out they were making Halo 3 and was excited. I got Xbox Live in March of 2007 and everything took off since then. Bungie, I'd like to thank you for all you've done. You got me to where I am today getting into Game Art & Design in college. If it weren't for playing Halo in class, I would've still been playing Nintendo games, that or just now coming into the series when you guys are leaving. It's been a wonderful 5 1/2 years for me and I wished I had played Halo when it first came out in 2001, which to a certain point I did on my cousin's xbox when he was testing games but at that time I didn't know it was called Halo. Great job guys and I'm anxious to see what you guys have going on now. See you starside.(Maybe I'll get a job with you guys in the near future). =)

Im not the type to cry, But bungie, your games have been a huge part in my life since i was 8.
My brother went through a surgery to remove his colon, and i used halo as a coping mechanism.
Ill be Waiting for your game, Even if it takes 9 billion years.

If it tastes like toast, smells like toast. Wait, why are you smelling toast?

It was amazing not many companies are willing to accept and dissect their failures along with their successes. It also really showed how Halo turned from a small Mac game to a huge and rich universe. I can't wait to see what is next.

I agree with ya! Gives me the Hope to pursue on,I definitely want to work on halo in the future as a concept artist !
