Well in the vidoc they said they worked on three games at the same time; Halo 2, Oni and Phoenix.

The other two got launched right? But I don't remember hearing anything about Phoenix. Is it possible that the new project Tiger could in fact acctually be Phoenix?

If that's the case it would mean that it would have been in development for something like 7 years! :O

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I'm pretty sure Phoenix was Halo 3. I could be wrong though.

Ha! I was wrong!

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Phoenix's die, and later are born from their ashes; that game failed, and shall rise up again as their next project.

There used to be a domain name owned by Bungie that had to do with Phoenix a while back.

I love Halo, I have played it since the beginning, even though I may not have had Xbox Live back then. Marathon is also a pretty good game. I have been here on Bungie.net longer but got a new account and I am looking forward to Bungie's next game. My old account got hacked.

Thank You Bungie! For the best games and Recon Armor. Also thanks for the early access to the Halo: Reach Beta!

It's sad to see games die.

Phoenix was an RTS game that died out very fast.

So therefore Tiger is essencially based on all that work put into Phoenix right? OR it could just have been cancelled, never to be seen again like all you others say :P

I think when Halo 2 was in development Jason and Joe Staten went to Chicago to come up with the story for Phoenix or Tiger as mentioned in the Vidoc.

True that, just think about it; a universe that has been in development since the earliest mentioning at 1998. It's gonna be HUGE!

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

Phoenix is dead... Long live Phoenix!

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

The next time I wrote for an electronic game, I was in better company. Bungie Studios hired me to write for them, pre-Xbox, and as a Marathon fan I was jazzed. I wrote a big, epic story, a real gut-churning tale of empire, conquest, and mystical destiny. It was rich with symbology and put the player in the role of a true conqueror, laying waste to entire regions with the forces at his command. I still love that story, to this day.

Bungie canceled the title. I was not batting a thousand in this bold new medium.

That sounds like a great concept to me.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

In the Vidoc, there was a Phoenix Wright poster.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

What a sniper can kill within a 1000 ft radius? A lot...

I don't know, but I figure Phoenix is related to Tiger.
