Bungie, you have literally been apart of more than half of my life.

When I was 6 years old, I saw my uncle play this game. "Halo Combat Evolved". I was too young to play or even understand the story, but I appreciated how amazing it looked. Whenever my uncle went to the bathroom, I grabbed the controller. I figured out how to throw these blue shiny things, which later I learned to be grenades.

I was about 8 when Halo 2 came around. I got it for myself, and I beat it by myself. I loved it, it is still my favorite campaign to date. I did not have Xbox live however.

When I heard of Halo 3, I was in 4th grade. To anticipate the release, I went back and played Halo 1. Since I never actually beat the game. I loved it.

Halo 3 came out when I was in 5th grade, and I got it on release date. I played that game hours and hours a day. I was a brigadier in multiplayer, which I am still proud of. It was my first game on Xbox Live.

A few years later, I heard the news Halo: Reach was coming out. To get excited, my friend and I played through ALL of the Halo's during the summer. From start to finish. I beat halo Reach within a week of release on Heroic. Then I beat it Legendary Solo. I am also a "mythic" in multiplayer.

I am turning 15 years old in 4 days, and do you know what that means? Bungie, you have been apart of my life for 9 years. More than half of my life.

And that won't stop now. I will follow you guys and play your next game as religiously as I played halo.

I love you guys, and as cheesy as this sounds, I'd be interested for working there when I am older, or at least a gaming company if you guys aren't around.

Maybe I could get an internship or a tour? Just to see how things work there?

Interestingly, I have pretty much the same exact story as you. Bungie has kept a special place in my heart for 9 years, like yourself. I remember in 5th grade, we had to send letters to our favorite companies for English class. Other kids sent letters to Sony, Nintendo, Toys 'R Us (lol), etc... Sure enough, I sent mine to Bungie :) Every kid in my class received something from their company, but I didn't expect anything from Bungie. I knew they were working too hard on their next game!

I also would love to work for Bungie, as they inspired me to learn about game development. A tour wouldn't hurt either ;)

Thanks Bungie, for fighting through those rough times and still making world-class video games.

The first Halo game I played was Halo: CE way back in 2001 after I moved to a different city. I played the crap out of that when I went over to my now best friend's house. I had been to his house before, we were friends, but I don't know if we'd be lasting friends without Halo. That was one of the reasons I went over there. I stayed up the whole night playing that one time. I played it so much I can't count. I think that was the only game I would really want to play while over there.

Later he would become my best friend.

When Halo 2 came out, he brought it over to my house this time. We still had ourselves a blast playing it. That was THE game we would play. There were some other, but we would always play Halo 2 before the other one's.

A few years later, a crapload of anticipation, and Halo 3 came out. I knew I wanted it, I knew that I had to have it. That was the first Halo game that I bought. I dove right in knowing it would be good. I can't count the hours spent on Halo 3. Finishing the fight......it felt good.

From that point on, any game marked with Halo was a must have for me. Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach......man, I remember waiting for Reach. Pre-ordered it. Got it the day it came out. I beat it within 15 hours.

If it weren't for Halo, I would not have one of the greatest friends in the world.

Thank you Bungie. Thank you.

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

5 years here, starting a bit more than a year before Halo 3 came out.
