Subject: Nathon Fillion ViDoc Speculation

"I don't care if it's God's own anti-Son of a -blam!- Machine or a giant hula-hoop!"

During the ViDoc, towards the end there is already a ton of speculation about their new, upcoming game.

I think I have found something new, that could be of some significance.
"I put my faith in Bungie."

'Faith' is the keyword here. He puts the most emphasis, and the most stress on that word.

Nathan Fillion is an old friend of Bungie. When you go to their website, on occasion it will say, "Bungie.net: Nathon Fillion returns our calls" (Or something close to that) So obviously he isn't a stranger to the studio. Mr. Fillion even stated "I know what's going on (At Bungie)." in the ViDoc.

So what my theory is, is that, "Faith" is either the name of something in their next game, or something significant to do with it.

Recently there has been a lot of swirling information about Halo: Faith.

Could I be seeing something that's not there? Sure.
But, Bungie has been known to throw hints and Easter eggs into almost everything they do, and this could very well be one of them.

I encourage others to go through the rest of the Nathan Fillion footage, and let us know whether or not you see something, either old, or confirmation of my theory.

Now that my friends is reading between the lines. :P

Interesting idea nonetheless.

I'm guessing him and Jen Taylor (seen in a motion capture suit at the end of the Vidoc) are going to be the heros of the new IP.

Wasn't Jen. It was the voice of dare. that was old footage from '09 for ODST.

Many will enter, only one will rise to the top and he might not even win....

I'm guessing that he is a voice-actor in their newest game, so it would make sense that he knows what's going on.

O.D.S.T. didn't use motion capture, so that couldn't be from O.D.S.T.

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

I thought the mo-cap scene was likely from the new IP. Not 100% certain, but I was convinced at least... So, will Nathan be in the next title? Wouldn't surprise me, that's for sure.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Maybe he's voice acting in their new game.

I swear that was Jen Taylor, and I really don't think mocap was used for ODST.

I'd be happy to see Fillion in the next game, whatever role he plays.

If you're reading this, congratulations. You've just pressed a button to find out a little bit more about me. Not that you will, but well done anyway.

I'd like to see him in the new IP, although he could have been in the ViDoc purely due to his love of Bungie and Halo. Just saying!

  • 08.04.2011 1:03 PM PDT

I can almost guarantee he will have some part in the next game.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Nathan may be doing a voice for their next title.

It seemed to be an odd annunciation, especially considering the circumstances.

I don't know about him dropping hints, but it seems he will be involved in Bungie's next game.

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

It could just be a pun. Or possibly unintentional.

Nathan Fillion could simply just have faith in Bungie, as we all do.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Something tells me that man will have a future with Bungie as a voice actor . . .

  • 08.04.2011 2:03 PM PDT

You know you are running a hard course when your ears pop during the meet.-me

I think Nathan will probably be a lead in their next game because he was barely in Reach. They probably didn't want his voice to become really played out, you know? Otherwise he woulde've been a great Carter.

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

Really? I thought he said "I put my 'face' in Bungie". As sorda like a joke, cause he did put his face in ODST.

But I don't think that line has any significant importance. Just saying he puts his faith in Bungie.
