A 3 Legged Goat
Nobody cares about anyone else's opinion - be it mine, yours, or a cult of angry star wars nerds - when they are enjoying what they enjoy.

Everyone cares about opinions, that's why we socialize on a forum with strangers.
I thought it would be a cool idea to get a sense of how long many of you have followed this incredible company. I don't want to start a measuring contest or anything, so let's keep it friendly.
I'll go first. I became a Halo fan in 2004 after purchasing Halo: Combat Evolved. After blasting my way through Halo 2 a few months later, i was hooked. However, it was only the next year that I discovered the amazing history of this company as well as the fan base that defines it. I played through the Marathon Trilogy that year and became obsessed with the story of that universe, although I still haven't played Pathways Into Darkness. (I've exhaustively read through Hamish Sinclair's excellent story notes, though.) Oni came soon afterwards, and although I've never played either of the Myth games, I've familiarized myself with that community as well. However, my true ascension to fan-hood came when I joined the bungie.net forums and became an active member of the community for the first time.
It's truly been a journey, and I can't wait to follow Bungie into the next phase of their plans for World Domination.
