I would think that you would use the second mouse button but do you think that it might be difficult trying to snychronise (excuse spelling) both fingers to click the mouse buttons. I mean that would make since but do you think that maybe the second fire should be else where. I'm just looking to see your opinion.

well yeah it would be hard to use both buttons and clicking them, thats why i want to get a controller, like the Xbox 360 one, when you use the normal xbox controller on Halo 2, u have to press B to melee it, now unless you do it with ur right index or you are polydactyl(having more then the average amount of fingers), u have to let go the left stick, the one u aim and look with, that annoys me, thats why i use green thumb, but then u have to press B to zoom in, so its sometimes hard to find a right custom setting, but if u mean to like shoot both guns with one button, what if u have a non-automatic weapon or u want to hold it , like the PP, thats why i would go with controller, i bought thats pretty sweet, its like the xbox controller, with pressable sticks and it has two extra Right and Left button, like the PS controller, so next time i melee someone i dont have to let go the left stick or anything

if anything i said dosent relate to this then i have no idea what im doing lmao :)

The left and right mouse buttons should be the buttons for duel wielding.

Default should be the two mouse buttons; you should have the option of changing it to your preference, however.

In my H2PC mod, R is to dualwield, e is to pickup/excange. Left is to fire left and right is to fire right. Middle is for mele. Boost on veichles is achieved by pressing SPACE.

well the thing is... if you have say a magnum and a smg, it is relatively easy to synchronize the single fire magnum with the sustained fire smg on the xbox because you use two hands. however, it would be nearly impossible to synchronize single fires with sustained fire when you are using two fingers on the same hand. no normal person is coordinated enough to do this easily. pp and smg would be hard. heck, pp and magnum would be practically impossible. i like the idea of just being able to change it, cause i would set it to right click AND tab, so that in the case of grenades and two identical weaps i can just use the mouse, but when interesting coordination is involved i could use a different key for the left hand.

It's called training. Patience young grasshopper.....

It'd be weird, but not impossible. Like node said, tab to dual weild, g for grenades, F for melee, just swap controls from xbox to pc. it's pretty simple to me

Mouse buttons should be default for dual-wielding. Tab should be used to pick up a dual-wield.

And I don't think it would be practical to get the Xbox 360 controller for Halo 2 PC because chances are they will disable auto-aim, so those of you with god-like sniper skills will find getting shots a lot harder on a controller for the PC version.

Dude. I know you're a new member and all, but you need to stop digging up old threads. It's called bumping. Bumping is evil. Don't bump.

youre such a naughty person. *brandishes vista stick*

Well, dual-wielding will be slightly diffrent on pc then xbox *obviously*. but if I remember you pressed 1 button for picking up a weapon, and holding "y" to dual wield. I think that "y" was also for switching between your weapons.

So if you had my mouse set up, right and left buttons would be the 2 triggers, the scroll button woudl be: down-exchange weapons in ground, click-melee, up-switch between 1st and second weapon/dual-wield weapon.

sorry many times C (not by me though) is used as crouch as well.
my use of control is melee.
