I know the community has been hosting Community Joes for a while now, but I miss Average Joes! I think it would be great if Average Joes returned to Bungie.net during dormancy. The next few months will be pretty quite on Bungie.net and it would be nice to see a little bit of activity from Bungie (And new Average Joes) during this time period.

I believe urk originally signed up for his position at Bungie to interact with the community. His job description has pretty clearly changed that focus to something more geared into the development process. It would be fun to see them return but I predict that will only happen with the hiring of additional staff or once Bungie bursts forth from darkness.

I am really well at forging in any Halo game and taking screenshots.

Yeah, I know. If/When there will be any Joes, they should talk about any new info that there is on Bungie's future project(s), and/or 343's future/current project(s).

I don't think you know how the Average Joe interviews worked.

The Average Joes were news articles dedicated to interviewing members of this site. Any new Joes won't know anything about the new Bungie/343 projects.

I used to love reading Average Joes. They gave a great insight into the members of the community.

I'd be all for their return, but it seems unlikely.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

This.
I thought we would get more stuff like this again after Bungie "went dark." It seems as though Urk is doing something in the development process as I haven't seen him as much in the forums. Not counting today.

It would definitely make my days less boring if it showed up again.

He'd have instantly stopped and knelt down, one fist on the ground, hoping to be impervious to the officer's attacks. When this would have failed and he's in the back of the police car, he'd blame his predicament on his friends for not being team players.

Ohhhh I loved those. Please bring them back.

Speaking of things posted on the main page, will there be a Weekly Update tomorrow or will they still be hidden in the darkness?

I doubt we'll see an update for a while.

I never got an Email back from Urk on the matter so I'm not sure that we can expect much. Or Bungie once more is keeping the "new" Average Joe's so clandestine that a whisper won't be released for a while...

All in all, we just do not know if they will come back, all we can do is beg, unfortunately, which we probably should not do.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I think all the past average joes should get a second interview >_>

Urk can come to visit us and video our lives for a week.
