I haven't been on the site in a while, I have been doing some personal struggling, demons within me holding me back and making me doubt myself. By the whoever does all those viDocs are geniuses like the rest of you guys...

<<personal story, skip if you want>>
As a kid, all my friends expressed a desire to make a video game. Even though I was like 7(yeah like second grade), I had a realistic head on me, I knew most of them wouldn't, I knew it could be fun, but I never thought I would be able to do it. Well, a year later, in 2001, my friend got an xbox. He was 1 year older than I was. I didn't know what the game was, even though I sucked at it, it looked cool, yes my first experience on halo was blood gultch on a warthog, no joke. 2 years later, I got my own xbox. I got Halo and I played...and played...My first FPS, my first game that wasn't a sissy kids game made by nintendo(I still love Zelda though and I love nintendo games). I fell in love. In fact Halo launched me into the world of sci fi! By the time halo 2 came out, I had it reserved, limited edition. I still have it, and it still has that orange sticker, "do not open until septermber 24 2004"(I think that was the date). It was huge. I loved it. The rest is history really, from that point on, I am like everyone else.

<<The guts>>
Bungie, you have inspired me in more ways than you know, everyone there, even if I don't know you, or your alias. Every piece of what bungie has done, even if I was too young to play marathon, myth and the like, it has inspired me. This Vidoc let me see into what you guys are, more than ever on the technical side, which is the side I care about, almost as much as the shiny games you put out at the end. I even made this as my swan song to high school, I literally weaseled my way out of my second to last final with 45 minutes to spare, and skipped my 20 minute break, to work on my last final in my high school history...I made a gravity hammer in my first 3d model class. I know no bungie men have ever seen, but here it is:

Then on top of that you listen to the community, interact like no one does, and no one can, because you see past your own goals and ideas, and sincerely look at the community, well you aren't different from us, I want to be that some day, part of what I do. Why I want to work for you. I will do what it takes, I'll work on being an image master, or a code junkie, but whatever I end up with, I want to end up at Bungie.

<<In closing>>
If anyone in bungie sees this, I am glad to say I am happy to have been here, and if by some small miracle you indeed DO see this, among the millions of fans, numerous as leaves that are in the trees, and as endless as the stars, my one wish would be to visit you...maybe, have a chat, boost my morale, and give me answers to my questions, on how I may one day work hard to end up in your graces, I don't mean to ask for privilaged access for bragging rights...I just NEED to know some things, and I don't know anyone is this huge world to ask but you. I only ask because I honestly think I have a chance to get an answer. Beside, I want to know how many Mormon people have worked for bungie/that are in the game industry in general...Did that get your attention? No? Was that a cheap tactic? So anyhow, thanks for being awesome for 20 years, that is 1 year of awesome per year of my life +1 for good measure.

<<P.S.>>Whatever this new project is, I hope it has a glimmer of the old free as a bird bungie, with the power of the new "we have pretty toys" bungie. Good Luck, have fun, do whatever magic it si you do, I have faith, true faith. I'm ready for something new. I hope to one day help out in any capacity.
