To start this off id like to say im 17 and i just watched the vidoc and i got teary-eyed and some of you might be like "oh its a game" but it was something more
Back When i first saw the Halo CE trailer at E3 it blew my mind as a kid i loved the way it looked and i wanted to see more/play it. I just loved the way the game looked as a kid.
the very day it came out i remember my dads friend came to my house and had his xbox in his hand and had halo and him and my dad started playing it and i came in with my brother and we wanted to play so we hooked up with split screen and played all day it was a good 4-5 hours of nonstop playing. now this was something that blew me away.
I love'd playing the mulitplayer and the story of it was amazing along with XBL with halo 2 I meet most of my friends on there i still talk to this day
AND ONE OF THE PEOPLE I MEET I FOUND OUT HE IS MY COUSIN ABOUT A YEAR AGO 0.0
and no i don't lie when i say this. and halo 3 with the three years i put in that game almost everyday of those 3 years of halo 3's life i played at least 3 games.
ODST loved the story and firefight was epic. and last but not least Halo Reach,
Halo Reach, it was the very first special Ed game i ever bought i always thought it was dumb to buy a game for such a big amount just for something special but this i bought just because how much i respected the game/story/company and i just wanted to show my respect by buying this and supporting Bungie and i remember going to the midnight release and i was so excited i even played a tournament at my gamestop (won it i got a big cut out and a free copy of the Special ed of Halo Reach)
and i just thought to myself finishing the story of Reach
"this has been a good 10 years"
and to that i thank you Bungie you are my childhood you are the reason half of the things i do now whether it be playing competitive or thinking of story's based of halo or making videos or even machinma
Really Bungie, Thank you for the good 10 years running.
