I left my witty signature at home.

At the moment Bungie's game. Not that I'm un-enthused at Halo 4.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I'm eager to see what they go with the Halo series. Still excited for Bungie's new IP, but I'm more loyal to Halo then Bungie.

There's no quedstion that I'm gonna waste my money on both, but the uncertainty and the act of turning a new chapter in the Bungie Universe has me estatic!
Quite frankly I can't wait.

Bungie's new game. I love halo, but I recognize that it's Bungie's genius that made it.

U Mirin?

Why don't you do any work on your chest or legs or something? You look like a cartoon character.

Halo was the only reason I ever came to this website. And after playing Bungie's most recent game, I have little faith in their next one.

I am absolutely more excited about Halo 4.

Pass the controller bro

Bunie's new game.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

I've been a Bungie fan for fourteen years. Bungie's new project is something genuinely excited. I felt absolutely nothing at the Halo 4 trailer. I'm honestly more excited about Halo: CEA.

A little off-topic: I find it appalling how much faith people put into 343 when they haven't directly made a thing, other than Waypoint. How do you know 343 is "capable hands?" How can you guarantee they're not the Treyarch to Bungie's Infinity Ward? What's the harm in a "wait and see" attitude?

  • 08.05.2011 10:58 AM PDT

I don't give two damns about Bungie's next title, looking at Reach.
Halo 4.

Inaccurate comparison: Both Treyarch and IW are terrible.

I'd say it's more on the line of... guys experience in modding games compared to the guys that made the game they modded.

We Fight For Glory. We Fight For Honor. We Fight To Win.

If bungie was not on good terms with 343, I would not buy it. I am looking forward to Halo 4, because I have always loved thge franchise. However, I think we all loved it because Bungie made it. I won't abandon Halo, because I still love it, but you gotta love bungie even more.

I wouldn't discount IW completely. Yeah, MW2 was pretty bad in my eyes, but Call of Duty 4 had a really good campaign with a feeling of plausibility (minus, obviously, the hundreds of enemies you kill single-handedly). And Call of Duty 1 and 2 (the other ones made by IW) were very good, very fun games as well. I think once Activision realized that they had a gigantic game series, they realized they could exploit it to death. Call of Duty 4 felt like it was still a PC game, and that's what made it so fun on console. From MW2 on, that PC feel was bastardized and it was a dumbed-down console game.

Infinity Ward, however, due to Activision, has lost its two core elements, and I feel it's not the same thing. So yeah, I would call it bad now.

Halo 4.

Ah, you must be 1337.

Anyone with half a brain could see that Reach was a stellar game with a great campaign, and a good story. Unfortunately most people are just playing for the multiplayer.

Have you seen the people MS hired for 343? There are talented people at 343 who worked are games like MGS4 and Uncharted. Also all the ex Bungie employees. Halo IS in capable hands.

OT: I'm more excited for Bungie's game.

I find it apalling people can put no faith in them at all even though they haven't done anything but Waypoint, Community support, CEA, the books and have one of the most diverse and talented teams, possibly ever in gaming.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Same here if not halo most of you wouldn't be here.

Destiny. Halo 4 never really got me excited, although Halo CEA did...

  • 08.05.2011 11:45 AM PDT

343i and Halo 4. The Halo trilogy is the only series of game by Bungie that I consider good.
Their other games (Myth, Marathon, Oni, Halo: Reach, Halo 3: ODST) just suck.
And seeing how bad is their last game, I don't even know if I'll buy their next game. Probably, I'll wait a price drop.

  • 08.05.2011 11:52 AM PDT

Hmm... It's mighty hard to decide between two games we know next to nothing about.

If they have Elites as playable characters in Halo 4, I'm going to get it (unless it is reviewed as a terrible game by everyone, then I'll stick with Reach). But, I'm very interested in what Bungie's next game will be and what it will be about; that being said, I'm unable to decide which I want more.
