Subject: Bungie... 20 Years of Music box set...

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think Bungie should do a massive sountrack collection for all the games they have done.

A "20 years's of Music" box set.

All the Music from:
Myth: The Fallen Lords
Myth 2; Soulblighter
Oni
Marathon
Marathon 2
Marathon Infinity
Halo CE
Halo 2
Halo 3
ODST
Reach

Bonus features:
*bloopers from voice actors
*THE ALTERNATE ending of Halo 2. (Marty has the sound files)

Limited edition:
*100 limited set all containing a signed photo from Marty.
We will use this picture

I would <3 to have a collection of all of Bungie's music.

I already have all of Bungie's soundtrack music, so I'm fine. But it's a fair idea. A shame they didn't do one for Bungie Day '11 to be honest.

MLG

Would they even be able to? Bungie doesn't own Myth, ONI, or Halo anymore.

I thought Bungie still owns all their other games. They just don't own Halo anymore.

That is what I was thinking. The limited edition seems pointless, and just another way to make Spartain Ken feel better than everyone else.

They sold some of the rights to their older titles (a few of them) but they should be able to make a CD collection of EVERY song they ever made for their games.

I want music. :D

Lucky, I would love to have Bungie's Myth soundtracks, etc but they don't sell them.

BUT, they have the files to burn on Discs for sale.

Take2 owns ONI and Myth, and MS owns Halo. If you want the soundtracks, just buy them. You don't need them bundled together in a fancy box.

Tru7h. Though I do like this idea a lot.

Just in case there is some confusion, Marty didn't do any of the music for the Marathon series and only did about half of the music for Oni.

Alexander Seropian wrote all of the music in Marathon 1 and Power of Seven did the themes for Marathon 2, Marathon Infinity, and the other half of Oni's music.

I don't even know how I have the Myth and Marathon soundtracks - I think they were copied over when one of my college mates gave me the Halo 3 soundtrack after my disc broke.

I'd buy it. I only have two soundtracks myself. I can't help but wonder if they're even able to, though.

  • 08.05.2011 3:08 PM PDT

From The Beginning, You Know The End

------------------------------------Halo Reach---------------------------------------------

Yeah I would definitely buy that.

They were but finding the Myth and older soundtracks is very hard and they are VERY expensive.

I would <3 a box set of all the music.

I wish Bungie still had their older soundtracks in the Bungie store.

I didn't know that, cool.

Too bad I can;t fund the soundtracks.
